  1. I'm sure we'll hear from someone when they do. Still waiting on Best Buy too.
  2. I'm sure it also partially depends on what shipping speed you chose during checkout. There are three options: BestBuyShipping. Also it says they don't ship FedEx
  3. hmmmm, nice find. Wonder if it'll stay early 2014 especially if people have problems with single band LTE out of the gate and start complaining.
  4. Engadget says the LG G2 update won't happen until early 2014 and "shortly after launch" for the Samsung devices....bah hum bug
  5. I don't think it will matter if you're in a "Spark Market" as far as picking up more than band 25. Perhaps the more tech savvy people can comment, but if the 4G signal on the other bands is there, a tri-band phone should pick it up (after the phone updates come). For example where I'm at in Cleveland, wimax market, I assume the phone will pick up the 2500 signal even though its not a "Spark Market"
  6. He doesn't have a back cover, so I think that already knocks him out of the control group...lol
  7. Nope its the phone. I had the same problem all over Atlanta this past weekend
  8. Evo LTE owner from Charlotte who just got back from trip to Atlanta here. Found the same 4g problems with the phone. I think it picked up 4G on its own once during my entire trip. Pretty much every time i toggled airplane mode it did. Complete bs. I also stopped by a sprint store and found gs3s that had 4g and evos that didnt (after i turned off the wifi...nice way to hide the problem sprint). The employee just said the coverage isnt completely there yet. It was a non repair center so arguing would have been no use. Still i dont appreciate a blatant problem being overlooked. If this doesnt get fixed OTA you can bet ill be lined up the repair center in Charlotte at 4g market launch demanding a different phone. Just bs in general from Sprint on this.
  9. Funny you mention toggling, because just like others on this forum my EVO4G LTE will not switch to the strong 4g signal 14mbps in kings mountain without toggling airplane mode. Ill be doing my darndest during a vacation this weekend in atlanta to get it switched out for a gs3. not sure if there would be on this specifc thread, but are there any success stories in doing so?
  10. I tried to pick it up with sensorly this morning coming getting off 85 going east and heading home to mount holly but nothing. i did pick up that stretch in kings mountain though

    HTC EVO 4G LTE

The EVO 4G with it's stock rom/kernel does not have the MAP bluetooth profile. The only way I found out to get the MAP profile was to install a post-official cyanogenmod rom with a modified bluetooth stack that supports MAP (they call the non-official versions "kangs" on xda-developers.com). It worked just fine with my '12 Ford Focus for getting text messages read aloud in the car. Hope that helps
