My network also says evdo today. What does evdo mean?

I got a decent 4g signal 275 and gandy. 12 down and 3 up. I went west on gandy and the signal fell off around 19. I'll try to get back that way later today to map.

I've mapped all over downtown and I can't find where its coming from. When I get over by the USF campus I lose the signal and the same by the Vinoy. Any ways it's no big deal. It's just something I was wondering.

Is there a reason there aren't any towers done in east St. Pete, or is that just the luck of the draw? It just seems weird that nothing is done east of 275.

That's where we do agree. If sprint does advertise or promise a service, then by all means they should be held accountable by their custumers.

After sprint announces launch, are they 100% accountable or 40% accountable. I only ask because sprint will be about 40% complete when they announce the launch.

I disagree. There's a difference between a launch and a completion. Just because sprint announce a launch doesn't mean they are going to change the rest of the build out. They're still going to have to test the panels they put up and ajust for maximum coverage. And unil the build out is complete, there will still be holes in the coverage.

I just would've thought that this would've been a more productive week over here. It seems to me that when Tampa started lighting up, things came to a crawl over here.

There's still nothing east of 275 in St. Pete. From Pinellas Point all the way up. The 3G down town is faster for me than the weak 4G signal. But I know it's coming. I gotta be patient.

I wonder what's up with that. I would've thought the more the nv got done, the faster the speeds should be.
