  1. When I called Sprint I was told it was a nation wide interruption.
  2. Things seem to have come to a dead stop here in St. Pete.
  3. Today I've noticed that my s5 stayed on b41 or b26 all day in St. Pete. But I also noticed in some area's I got some pretty slow download speeds. I would kinda like to see a 8t8r deployment running list like with the lte running list.
  4. On 16 ave n. And 2400 block I got 77 megs down. And on 30 ave n. And mlk I got 60 megs down.
  5. I live in st. Pete and have found quite a bit of b26. Its been getting better every day it seems. My fastest download speeds so far are better than 76 megs down. (Obviously a lot higher than average).
  6. Does anyone know about how much longer it will take them to finish the band 26 work?
  7. I ran 2 speed test on 30th Ave N and MLK in St. Pete on my s5. I got just over 66 megs down on my first test, and over 56 megs down on my second. I ran the test on sensorly. Love my s5.
  8. Look like I have a little more reading to do. But I do know its going to cost me $199. with a new contract. A bit more than the g2 or nexus5.
  9. I just read that Sprint is coming out with a triband gs4 in a week or two. I think that's gonna be my next phone.
  10. I'm actually out of contract now so I'm a little gun shy on which phone to get. Has Sprint put out the spark update on either phone yet? I think that might be my deciding factor.
  11. I am on the bubble between the Nexus5 and the g2.
  12. I got wifi. I just find it funny that my wimax photon beat my sg3 in a speed test. I'm going to hang out to see how this sparkthing pans out. On the up side, I've never had a dropped call from either phone. I find that amazing considering all the work going on.
  13. I'm kinda getting frustrated with my lte. I was getting great speeds at my house a couple of months ago (16megs down peak was 33megs down). Now I get 2-3 down (if I'm in my driveway). When I call sprint, they tell me that the towers in my area are performing normally. My contract is up, and I'm kinda on the fence.
  14. I see tower guys working on the tower off of 13 ave n and 42nd st n. This tower has been live for a while now. I know they are working on Sprint panels because I have zero bars but still ha data. Things that make you go hmmmm.
  15. Obviously I live in St. Petersburg. That's why I ask. And of course I'm due for a upgrade in December.
  16. When you say Tampa, do you mean Tampa, or Tampa market?
  17. I found a tower live near 60th ave n. and 16th st n. I got 23 mbps down on the speed test. I mapped a little on 16th from 54th to 76th ave.
  18. North of 62 ave n. From 275 all the way to the bay. Also shore acres area and snell island. The Riviera Bay area off of 83rd still has nothing. Even at North East high has slow 4G. (When I say slow, I mean under 2 megs down.) Even at my house I was getting 16 megs down inside my house when Sprint turned on the tower off of 30 ave n. and about 26th st. Now I get 3 megs down in my driveway.
  19. I hope this isn't the case. The coverage in St. Pete still has major holes. North east is brutal at best. Nothing down on 54 ane south. Downtown lte is still super slow. I don't want to be Mr. Negative, but sprint has to get the lte coverage a lot better.
  20. I'm working off 4st n. and 92nd ave n. and I've noticed my phone has been getting 1 bar of service. Its also switched to roaming a time or two. I hope that's a good sign for the near future.
  21. In St. Pete, east of 275 and south of Gandy still has major holes in coverage. The lte in downtown is all but useless.
