  1. I would say close to my home outside of Nashville, the map is fairly accurate. I will say that I am not seeing any 50+ down speeds though they have it marked as Spark Turbo. The best I have received is 15+ down.
  2. I hate that as well. It only seems to happen to me when it is over a certain dollar amount. You would think a fingerprint would be good enough...
  3. There are a couple of apps that I have discovered that will drain my battery. One is Kevo. It is an app that uses Bluetooth to lock and unlock my front door. I will say it does work well and beats having to unlock the door with a key in the dark. I do close the app after use.
  4. I understand. I am a former Blackberry user and did it for the same reason. Hard habit to break.
  5. I have not really seen a difference at this point. I will say that I do make it a habit of double clicking and closing open apps, sometimes twice a day. I charged my phone last night and it has been almost 16 hours. Still have 87% of my battery.
  6. Nice forum to read Fraydog. I read where some commenters believe that Sprint is in the tank and never will recover. But from the scores, Sprint has improved dramatically. Yes, it is not like turning on a light in your home but two or three years ago, many of us would have thrown a block party just to have 1Mb of data speed consistently. Now, a good majority are realizing even faster speeds than that. As many have said that lead this website, what is usable? Do people really need 20+ Mbps down? In 99% of the cases, no. It just speaks well in a commercial so a consumer chooses that avenue. Eventually, all service providers will be within a few points of each other depending on the market. For those who are legacy Sprint customers remember, unlimited data will be your friend. Others provider users will be looking at their data usage, then turn to you and say, "I am out of data" or "I was charged X in data overages last month" while you just keep humming along.
  7. Tom should have called Malcolm Butler to the stage, handed him the MVP trophy and keys to the truck. He kept the Pats from hearing the Jim McKay famous words "the agony of defeat".
