I noticed the same thing. D/FW has progressed slowly (compared to other markets) since the early launch with Collin and Denton counties getting very little of that. I'm sure there's a reason but I haven't heard anything about why. It's got to be coming, we just have to be patient.

That's what I'm thinking too. I really like some of the extras on the GN2 though. I can't imagine they they would put it on sale this soon and almost all the Black Friday ads are out.

People should check with their local Sams Club to see which carriers they will offer the 96 cent deal on. They said it will vary by store.

My last bump was December 2011. I had to do it in person at a franchise store. Has anyone tried the franchise stores lately?

I've had no trouble getting Sprint to bump me 1-2 weeks before. Last year I had to go to a Sprint franchise store to get it bumped up a month. Oddly the Corp store couldn't do it and sent me there where I had no problem getting it done..

On Black Friday GSIII will be $49.95 at Sprint, $48 at BB, $49.95 at Radio Shack and maybe 96 cents at Sam's Club.

I would love to hear feedback from other Note II owners on their LTE connectivity and speeds. All the reviews go over everything from screen, size, S Pen and software features but don't test one of the most important things.

Thanks. I saw your most recent update after I posted this. It shows DA73XC010 as complete and DA03XC192 also. Both are near Hwy. 75. The other 3 are not yet complete, however I can report that I got a weak LTE signal on CR 546 with download speeds of 5-6 Mbps. I also observed a strong signal on Hwy 380 at Airport Road of -80/90 Db and download speeds of 17-25 Mbps

Robert. can you confirm if towers DA73XC063 or DA73XC041 are LTE complete yet? These are near Lake Lavon. If they are active, then I am out of luck. I'm surrounded by these 2 and DA73XC010 and DA60XC972. Still no LTE at home, although there is some nearby that I've mapped on Sensorly. I appreciate you checking for me.

Picked one up for my daughter today. She's a happy camper! I've waited this long so I'll checkout the Note II first. I wanted it though for that price.

Does anybody know what's happening in the D/FW market? It was a first round market that now shows one of the lowest completion percentages. It also went from a projected completion date of Nov, 2012 to sometime in 2014. Yikes, what a change!- 200 replies

Corporate store. They gave me a new (in plastic bag) battery when I asked and shipped me 2 more for the other phones on my account. Like I said, maybe they just felt sorry for anybody who still has a Palm Pre, but I was still impressed!
