Sweet . I installed Lollipop last night.  Working great so far. Only issue I had was losing mobile data after enabling wifi calling. I had to do the keypad re provision code to get it back.   Might be worth doing after you install this image anyway. 

Do you have a particular reason for doing this? Sprint provides Google Voice integration.

I've tried the GV integration and it doesn't work well. About every 5th call doesn't go through and I have to re-dial.  Many others have reported this identical problem. I want my Sprint # actually ported to GV.  If that kicks me of Sprint and they won't reactive my account, that is their loss, not mine. 

I want to port my number to Google voice. I understand this will terminate the Sprint account. Has anyone been successful in getting sprint to re-activate the account with a new number, instead of paying the ETF and starting over with a new plan ? 

I've read user reports with other carriers where they ported their number, and were able to call customer service and get the account re-instated with a new number. 

If you are out of the country, and connected to a wifi network, can you use Sprint wifi calling to make and receive calls back to the US?

They shouldn't be able to say it's Spark until B26 is up.

anyone have problems with MMS over WiFi calling? I can't receive photos.

I like a slippery case because they drop into my jeans pocket.

A couple questions

 

1. What is the feel of the case (slippery or grippy)

 

2. Can a audio cable plug into the bottom without having to remove the case?

audio cable is no problem. it had a big cut out to accommodate even a large plug.

the case is skin tight if that makes sense. adds almost zero bulk to the phone. it does provide a lip on the front so if you dropped it face down on a smooth surface, the glass won't hit.

I like this TPU case better than plastic ones. adds no bulk and the headphone jack works fine even with my headphones that have a thick base on the plug.

I think for wiping data you can use ADB commands over USB

I wish they would do WiFi calling like t-mobile and forget the whole 911 thing.. just make it work from anywhere

international WiFi calling was just added to the g3 at the last update.. not sure when they expanded it to other phones

I'm traveling through the Houston airport, my first B26 experience and speeds are horrible. Like 2G speeds.. Is this unusual?

Has anyone done the flash back to 100% stock procedure  ?  Does it get rid of the twrp/ Bump bootloader and make the phone totally stock again? 

I'm noticing with PRL 55021 my Phone is connected to 1x800 frequently. 

Thanks.. I typically have 1 out of every 5 calls fail, with the symptom being I hear myself echo in my ear and my callers phone rings but when they pick up they hear nothing. Just have to redial until it goes through.

I'm hoping volte fixes this when it finally arrives. If lte was better I'd do all my calling with the hangouts dialer.

Does anyone use full Google voice integration and NOT have problems with calls going through? Meaning 10 out of 10 times calls work and you don't have to redial ever..

Ya I'll do that . I think most of it is because I enabled encryption. I knew that would slow it down some but it's borderline unusable.

My nexus 5 has some massive lag with the L update. Grr

Glad they decided that making it hard to become a customer is a bad business practice.

I'd add that Sprint WiFi calling does work very well. If you have poor coverage at your house, get a WiFi calling enabled phone and it will become a non issue.

Verizon or att will give you a better network experience, but at a substantial higher price. Most of us stick with sprint because we like the value and know that the service is improving.

I notice that my N5 frequency drops connection to to the tower and reconnects, like every 5 minutes. Signal check pro shows it, and the signal bar goes to zero bars. In a few seconds it's reconnected. This is in 3G. Anyone notice this behavior?

What does loading the gallery app give you that the built in photo app doesn't?

I gave up on Google Voice sprint integration. I recognize that I wasn't getting HD Voice and it was also causing some calls to not go through! A little too buggy and making me have a perceived by experience of Sprint! Only using it for voicemail now
