  1. LA60XC339 in Lomita is transmitting LTE. I mapped out a portion of the signal on my drive home. And this was the speed test taken at the traffic signal at Western Ave. and Lomjta Blvd. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S III (aka SEXY BEAST) running JB leaked Blazer ROM using Tapatalk 2.
  2. Advertise it on Craigslist. Seriously. I had your same phone a few months ago, advertised it on Craigslist, and had someone who wanted to swap phones. Their Samsung Galaxy S III plus a few bucks on my end for the HTC EVO 4G LTE.
  3. This may be the reason why I have pulled the ehrpd signal when I did speed tests in various places within the Disneyland Resort the last two times I was there within the past 3 weeks. Upload and download speeds ranged between .5 - 1 mb which is blazing fast compared to the myriad of times I have visited The Mouse's House in the past. My phone could actually open heavy apps like MLB At Bat, ScoreMobile, Tapatalk in seconds; whereas, in the past these types of apps would time out on the Sprint 3g network.
  4. Outstanding. I have to head out to the Costco on Commonwealth to gas up my car. If I have time I'll try to take a short drive on Main Street into Alhambra to see how far that signal extends. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S III (aka SEXY BEAST) running JB leaked Blazer ROM using Tapatalk 2.
  5. I have been by that tower twice in the past two evenings. I even mapped the area over Sepulveda Blvd. from the Target by the Del Amo Mall to Western Avenue. On Crenshaw I picked up the signal at Wilson Park and it died several blocks past Sepulveda. If you are using an Android phone toggle it in Airplane Mode when you are near the tower location. 6. Drove by site LA60XC339 a short while ago since it showed the tower has LTE on the most recent map update. As of 11pm PST Sensorly app did not pick up an LTE signal when I fired up the app at the the corner of Lomita Blvd and Western Ave. I even toggled from Airplane Mode. I did, however, map out some more Southeast Torrance driving West on Sepulveda Blvd. Since flashing the JB leak LIF modem the phone instantly picked up LTE. No need to toggle which was great. Looking towards reading the WSJ article on SoftBank acquiring 70% of Sprint stock.
  7. I'm running JB leak Blazer ROM using the LIH modem which does not immediately recognize LTE when I'm in a confirmed LTE area. So I switched back to the LIG modem hoping this will give my phone better results. I'm curious which modems people are using when mapping on sensorly.

  9. No LTE along Orange Grove Blvd and in Lot H outside the Rose Bowl. Time to tailgate. GO BRUINS!!! Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S III (aka SEXY BEAST) running JB leaked Blazer ROM using Tapatalk 2.
  10. The best Dry Creek is located in Sonoma Wine Country. Dude, do you ever sleep?
  11. I'll be in Pasadena tomorrow tailgating and watching UCLA football, and then off to Stone Brewery Store afterwards. I'll be pleasantly surprised if my phone lights up in the Arroyo Seco.
  12. Robert let me borrow the S4GRU gas card. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S III (aka SEXY BEAST) running Jelly Bean leaked Blazer ROM using Tapatalk 2
  13. No joy in Torrance around The Crossroads Shopping Center. I went to Costco to fill the car tank and only 3g in the area. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S III (aka SEXY BEAST) running Jelly Bean leaked ROM using Tapatalk 2
  14. There is a purple strip that stretches from just East of Union Station at the beginning of the Cesar Chavez railyard to the 101 freeway. This purple strip covers the rail line which the Riverside Metrolink uses.
  15. Kudos to the person who captured LTE signal on his/her commute on the Riverside Metrolink. Or I should hope it was a commuter and not the conductor. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S III (aka SEXY BEAST) running Jelly Bean leaked ROM using Tapatalk 2
  16. Yeah baby!!!! LTE is alive in Downtown LA Civic Center area. I ran Sensorly about an hour ago, and it looks like it captured the LTE signal from my location. I'll try to do a slow drive by Staples when I leave the office to see if LTE is there. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S III (aka SEXY BEAST) running Jelly Bean leaked ROM using Tapatalk 2
  17. As of 530pm PSTthere was no LTE signal in the Downtown Civic Center and Financial District areas. Also didn't pick up any LTE driving down the 110 freeway South towards San Pedro. It feels like it's only a matter of days before this thread explodes with LTE confirmations. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S III (aka SEXY BEAST) running Jelly Bean leaked ROM using Tapatalk 2
  18. RT @ESPNStatsInfo: Degree of difficulty? Trout's had 65% of PA vs pitchers w/ sub 4.25 ERA. Compare that to 55% for Cabrera.

  19. RT Reboot your oberhyped and overpriced iPhone. #Apple #iSheep @MelendezSports: Time Warner Cable just crashed. No Internet and no cable.

  20. Data speeds have been inconsistent between my commute from Lomita to Downtown LA and back to Lomita. I started the morning at Eshelman and PCH with slow speeds. The speeds continued to be slow at work near Spring and Temple Streets in Downtown LA throughout the day, even to the point of non existent speeds. Then got some much faster speeds eclipsing the 1meg down threshold near the West in Boneventure Hotel on 3rd and Flower Streets. Eshelnan and PCH in Lomita Figueroa and PCH in Wilmington Temple and Spring Streets in Civic Center Temple and Spring Streets in Civic Cemter 3rd and Flower Streets near Financial District 5th and Flower Streets in Financial District Near Caddington and Western Avenue in San Pedro
  21. RT LOL. iSheep will be iLost. @TalkAndroid: Due to iOS Maps failures, Apple recruiting ex-Google Maps engineers - http://t.co/2xeTAFIK

  22. What's the over/under on the number of UMMMS that Mayor Antonio Villar, aka Quark, will say during his speech? #StarTrek #KFI640

  23. I'm in San Gabriel right now and took this speed test on San Gabriel Blvd. and Hermosa which is only a few mike away from El Monte. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S III (aka Sexy Beast) running Phantom Hacker Blazer ROM via Tapatalk 2
  24. I'm excited because there is no Wimax in San Pedro and most of the peninsula area. The WiMax signal drops South of Pacific Coast Highway which was such a tease when I had the OG EVO, 3VO, and Epic 4G Touch because 3G data speeds were slow until a few months ago in the South Bay area (i.e. <.5 down and up) . I realize data speeds are relative, and I read many posts from others in Cajun Country (GEAUX TIGERS), Minnesota, Phoenix, etc who would dream to have such speeds. But Los Angeles is a world metropolitan area, and frankly there were many areas where data speeds were unacceptable. And as I finish typing this post, my phone shows that I have no signal in my area. So I hope this is a sign that Sprint is testing the towers before unleashing LTE in my area.
