  2. RT Donut Dan Guerrero is a lazy, incompetent AD. @KFINEWS: UCLA has hired New Mexico's Steve Alford as its new head basketball coach

  3. Got LTE inside the Big A, but can't map Sensorly. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
  4. My buddy is mapping LTE around Angel Stadium and Disneyland. Looks like at least one tower in that area went live. I'll be at the Angels game tonight. I hope that signal penetrates inside the stadium as well. And wish me luck I come home alive. Doyer fans (aka Raiders fans) will be invading the OC. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
  5. Perhaps a beer in hand will improve LTE signal inside the stadium. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
  6. FYI No LTE this morning in Alhambra around the Mission and Fremont area where there has been a consistent signal.
  7. I'll be at Angel Stadium this Thursday. I want to map out more of the area around the 5 freeway and Ball Road. There are a couple of purple blips on the Sensorly map that I want to verify. I heard 4g is not available in that area even though the Sensorly map shows otherwise.
  8. With the exception of a very small number of cell sites, all sites including ones labeled 3G will eventually be upgraded with LTE Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
  9. Has anyone received LTE today near State College and Ball Road? There's a fairly dark blip on the Sensorly map at that area but wanted to confirm if it's still active. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
  10. Cool. More important... How long were the lines at the Costco gas station? Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
  11. I recall reading that WiFi hotspots were going to be placed throughout Dodger Stadium during this offseason. And it was going to be free to all fans. That should ease the load of networks if a good percentage of fans link to the stadium's WiFi. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  12. My friends and I always have data issues at Dodger Stadium. Making and receiving calls was no problem. But we rarely succeeded surfing the net or open an sports app or using anything data related. We had Blackberries, EVOs, Epic 4G Touch.... Chavez Latrine was on big black hole. I hope the upgraded towers around the stadium can handle the load. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  13. Nice pic. If the camera shot is an indicator of where your boss's seats are located, I would guess they are on Club Level in shallow left field. I was last at Chavez Latrine in December and mapped out LTE signal from the Sunset entrance almost to the stadium store in center field.
  14. This thread is too quiet. For people who live or work in downtown LA, I've noticed at random times this week where there was no 4G available. It was only an issue when I wanted to watch a Netflix show and the reception was awful at best Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  15. Okay. I have some positive news to share. When I made my daily trek on PCH through Lomita and Wilmington my phone showed consistent 4G. Took a speedtest at PCH and Normandie intersection where the phone showed 3mb down, 1mb up. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  16. Come on people. You do realize Southern California is having a brutal winter season. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  17. That statement is inaccurate. There are towers in Torrance, Lomita, and Wilmington that no longer transmit LTE to customers since late last week, and each tower was turned on between October-December. It's somewhat frustrating because I built an expectation that there would be consistent LTE. But as I/we should all realize Sprint has yet to officially announce LTE launched in LA and surrounding areas. And until that time, enjoy the LTE wherever we find it.
  18. I work in Downtown LA and until this morning my phone never got more than .5mb down or up whether 3G or LTE in my office. So either a new tower went live near my work building or an existing tower is pumping out a stronger signal. Regardless, this is phenomenal. This is more than enough data speed to play Pandora, iHeart Radio, or even stream video. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  19. RT Not a peep from mainstream media so far. @Gizmodo: The Russian meteor strike has injured 250 people: http://t.co/FGDrJMgf

I sent this article to my wife. She will soon know that she is not alone. There are times when she has shook her head in disbelief when I activated the Sensorly app before beginning a car ride.
