Any update as far when Little Rock will start to see some LTE sites go live? Went to Memphis the other day and got use LTE for the first time. Now I know how it feels to be back on 3G after LTE and its like a slap in the face. lol

Is it normal to get multiple texts when NV starts. At first I thought it was because I was connected to my Airrave but I unplugged it and still getting multiple texts and people saying why do u keep sending that text over and over again and I only sent it once. So I was wondering what the issue could be.

I've been able to roam on 3G here in Arkansas I know I was on 3G cause when I had the 4s it said extended 3G and I've also gotten it on my evo lte because when I did a speed test it was like 1mbs + down. It must be on crickets network though because usually when I'm roaming on Verizon and don't put an area code it says sorry we can't complete ur call blah blah Verizon and I don't get that anymore but the call still gets an error message

Sprint does something like that here in LR I think. Because with this latest snow storm we were out of power and the power was out at the tower to but I still had full service. Although it was a pain to make a call or text or anything that required data. But I think it had to do with everyone on the tower all at once. My guess was that they had generators at the tower or something of that nature.

I'm more curious to know if with volte will it be possible to handle conference calls like gsm carriers where you can add more than 1 xtra person to a call and then actually just hang up on one person rather than having to hang up all lines.

I just uploaded the first 5 sites as In Progress in the Arkansas market over in the NV Sites Complete maps. They are in the Pine Bluff and El Dorado area. These sites are actually accepted as complete with 3G Network Vision upgrades and will appear in next week's update.

Nope and plus if you try using it with out a hot spot plan it just turns off ur data.

After these types of major updates, I think its always best to just do a hardreset and just start from scratch.

Yeah did that recently but note it took awhile to go through the activation and swapping process.

That tower off of 220 when visted this summer it was giving me 1mbps down consistently on 3G. The tower has always been doing good to me. So I wasn't surprised that's it was one of the first ones with LTE

Even looked at Htcs twitter and they have confirmed they don't know about a jellybean update but they also confirmed they are working out the connectivity issues.

They are only letting 25,000 people per day (for the first 4 days), get the update so... if you get "no update" that means they have meet their threshhold.

Dang I think I'd be good then If I was to stay at a friends house in college park in a few months. It'll get better though considering there's a tower close by blanding just about where u lost service.

I went to the doctors inlet site and did a couple speed test and got a pic of the tower. I don't know how good the pic is going to show being that I took it with my EVO LTE

Oh and I'm curious to see if sprint is going to have early upgrades available during Christmas like last year?

Considering getting the evo lte too. Even with its issues. If it gives me problems I'm gonna complain to sprint and then they'll have too let me switch to something similar like the Optimus g or Gs3.

But remember only 5 gigs is free.

Also doesn't picture messaging and video messages go over 3G network if of course no iMessage. Or can it go over WiFi?

*sigh* Halo 4 servers are down. Anyone experiencing this?

So far Halo 4 Multiplayer is going to take some time to get used to cause im used to playing halo where you had to be close up to somebody to kill them now its easier to kill and be killed.

Whats the password for the interactive map?

No LTE at the tower. I did a speedtest and got 1x speeds again. It's been this way since Oct 26th (probably a little sooner, this is the day I first checked it out.)

 

The antennas are definitely installed, they must be installing the backhaul to it.

 

P.S. Don't be fooled by my phone's status bar. I'm using the GS3 with a Sense theme. lol
