  1.

I wouldn't, if I lived in an active Sprint LTE market. My wife was so annoyed with her EVO LTE compared to the other LTE devices. She was blissfully ignorant until she was seeing the side by side LTE performance for four days.

I believe the EVO LTE will still get better and better with each OTA. However, I believe my wife would have shot me had it not had the latest OTA.

oh dang cause I really wanted the evo LTE! Do u think that HTC will make another sprint device this year?
  2. 3072 is the highest link speed. You have to have a very good connection along with an empty carrier on that sector and enough backhaul to support that so it is rare... Hell 2.7 is rare.. I don't even think I have hit that on an airave.

Once I got my airrave and had my evo 4g tethered to my laptop just to see if it would change the speed and i got 3.01 mbs down. But that only happened once.
  3. The network was running really good over there when I was in Orange Park/Lakeside/camp blanding/flemmimg island. I didn't go to downtown Jacksonville though so I'm not sure if the towers over there are getting good results. Right now I'm still in FL but now I'm in Miami so far everything is alright except the building staying at is a dead zone for all the carriers and it sucks.

  4. I'm in North Little Rock, Ar. Speeds are slow & very bad on E. McCain around Lowes/Home Depot. Tower upgrades are due in NLR by 7/30, suppose to have been completed 6/20, didn't happen. My EVO LTE won't work on 4g, i'm dissapointed. Sprint needs to compete with ATT/Verizon, they are way ahead of Sprint, now expanding their LTE to smaller markets in Ar. yet Sprint doesn't have hardly any 4g & no LTE in the state at all. Just renewed my agreement with them too. Maybe i should have waited.

Oh yeah i remember when i first got my Evo 4g in 2010 that by lake village i could get 2mbps down right their when getting wing stop, while here in Maumelle i could only get 100-300kbps or less. Now i can get a 1meg down at least outside by Lake willastean. And like the only tower in Maumelle is getting a data speed upgrade and yeah one of the ladies on sprint dot com / chat said it was going to be complete on 6/20 or 6/21. Oh and at Lake Village outside you could get a week 4G signal and by hooters
  5. Welcome to the site Chong, I haven't been over at ppcgeeks much recently. You getting an lte signal right now? Which part of jonesboro are you again?

    He means Jonesboro Georgia.

    Oh lol
  6. Anyone has any idea about LTE at the ATL airport and in Jonesboro?

I do get 4G with one bar at my house.

My other question is how do you get on the LTE tower? Is there a secret?

    North Carolina or Arkansas?
  7. I really do love my sprint gs3.

Dang i would've thought you'd get maybe a little bit lower pings with such high download and upload speeds but where you in downtown or in Orange Park, Fleming, Beach, or any other suburbs around Jacksonville going there monday and would like to know how good 3G performance is.
  8. I am trying to connect an Xbox to the Internet but it is the version without the built in wireless adapter and to buy the one that plugs into the back would cost me at least $50. I have created a network bridge on my laptop for the time being, but I would really like to free it up for other things beside acting as a network bridge. Can anyone please simply explain how to set a Westell A90-750022-07 to act as a receiver and connect to my wireless network and have the Xbox connected to the Westell?

Wait what operating system do you have? I know how to do it on windows 7 and I never bridged the connection I got a Ethernet plugged into the laptop going to the Xbox 360 and then under wifi thing you click on properties and find the sharing option and open the scroll box and apply it to the Ethernet and then you should start Getting Internet on the Xbox 360

  9. Speeds will not come down for some time. LTE speeds are more signal strength dependent than anything. A LTE site that is half capacity will still function at near full speed, so long as it has sufficient backhaul. And all Sprint LTE sites have enough backhaul to support several full carriers. So this will not be an issue for awhile.

Thank God!! I hope it doesnt get anywhere as bad as sprints 3G did in 2 years. Also at times sprints 1xrtt was faster than sprints 3G network so thats great news.
