As soon as 25+41 CA is live, we should see a BIG uptick in Sprint's scores in tests like these. 

The problem is consistency and without FDD/TDD CA it’s not going to happen.

Jax has been 15x15 on Band 25 for about a year now. Band 41 on almost every site that I see. Clear wire only sites converted to full build sites.

Sad state of affairs - these are just supposed to be security patches to prevent hackers...

Sprint was on the ball with updates until April. This phone has never went this long without a update before. I guess after it’s first birthday they dial back updates. But that doesn’t explain why the Note 9 has also not been updated since April.

Will do, initially when I first got my 10+ the rf was far superior to my 9+, then it went downhill to the point I had to have the phone replaced.

Something odd is up we are almost 2 months without so much as a security update. That's never happened before. At this point the next update has to be VoLTE or they are waiting for the final outcome for the merger before any more software updates go out.

After using voLTE again. The call reliability has dropped off. Especially in fringe areas. Sometimes I’ll be driving down the road and the call would just drop. I’ve had more dropped calls in the last 2 days than I’ve had all year. Hopefully things improve from here.

To me the iPhone xs b26 performance coverage wise is not good anyway. My S9+ is way better at it.

That's where that HTC hub comes in

The HTC hub would work if the site's had more backhaul. Once 5G is saturating the market it's going to be alot slower at current backhaul and settings. John did say that 5G upload was on the way in the coming weeks(usually translates to 3-6 months).

Need to get better backhaul in these areas then.

Sprint likely doesn't have the money to get 1-2gb backhaul yet. So they are competing on coverage and reliability. It should work. Most people are not running speed tests on there devices but they do notice 5G icon. If it's there more than any other carrier and still really fast Sprint will start finally winning customers.

Dont pay attention to the coverage map. Where I live it shows only native coverage and roaming is enabled on lots of towers. Some towers Sprint and Tmobile share and they still have roaming on them.

If it's only a software update then Sprint WTF. Sprint still has improves to make. I'm going on vacation in a couple of weeks to northern Minnesota and Sprint is terrible there. Barely has B41. True. Up until like last week. I was totally against the merger. At this point it’s merge with T-Mobile or sell to Comcast, Amazon, Google, etc.

I think Amazon is the best choice if the merger failed. Google has a bad track record of forgetting and abandoning projects and comcast has the worst customer service and has a track record of being anti competitive.
