  1. The site off of stage and alondra seems to be getting stronger. By the time I get home and to my front door I'm already on 4G(matter of seconds). Only draw back is the max I've gotten is around 5Mbps.
  2. Sadly we did. Although the Buena Park one is hitting some distance. Its not a very tall tower either.
  3. So ideally sprint would want to try to get more in the 800s for when they deploy LTE in that ares. Assuming I kind of have an understanding. Since sprint only has. 14 in the 800s they can only deploy LTE in the 5x5 configuration. And vzn and att are at an advantage with 20 in the 850 each with some usable 700 spectrum. I think I've read that vzn wants to sell some of the 700 cause they can't use it or expensive deployment.
  4. Holy crap! Thanks. I've tried researching all this but every source isn't clear or leave bits out. Huge help AJ!
  5. its literally in the dark purple zone. In when where stage and alondra meet. Of your driving west in stage it will bee on the left when you hit alondra.
  6. The site actually has quite a far reach. I can't wait until the day the OC sites light up! haha
  7. Awesome article regarding several different point of views and in great detail. Sorry to hear about the site near you, hopefully Dan hears ya and changes it haha. At least they are doing something rather than do nothing. Is there going to be location specific information about all this in the sponsor section?
  8. Maybe you guys have shed some some light on this topic. I've tried to do research on comparing how much spectrum the big 4 have license for. More specifically in Southern Cali in the OC and LA markets. I know they all have licenses for different spectrum in different areas. Also including the CLWR spectrum with Sprints. The whole "band" terminology confuses me. To simplify, how much spectrum does each of the big 4 have(including clearwire) in the LA and OC markets.
  9. ahhh. No worries. I'll just explain my findings. I was directly under it. My RSRP was as low as -69dBm. Max down load speed was 19.76Mbps. I have 2 decent shots of the base and the top of the tower. I did a normal pic with my evo and it was all black. Switched to HDR and bam! clear shots with only the flash.
  10. yea...........totally bummed. LA is just bleeding all over north western OC =/ this is a lame question but how do you add pics...lol
  11. I think I found the tower gang! If you look in sensorly I mapped it's location. It is off of stage. I'll load some pics.
  12. Just to make sure I understood your directions lol. From imperial going south to la Palma on valley view was spotty?

  14. Haha ill try. I was able to find the Lakewood area a few months back. Can someone give me a run down how to check LTE signal since bars lies!
  15. What part of la? Buena park is deeper in oc than la habra and cerritos is kind of far west to hit Buena park
  16. They must be blocking the lte and enhanced 3g cause speed tests are still below .5Mbps.
  17. I know we have to become a member to see the sites. I'm just wondering when you say "4g accepted" do you mean usable or just signed off?
  18. Im in OC and once I pick up LTE I'll start mapping. I mapped a little for southern LA.
  19. it mentions put your username in the paypal box, what if you dont have a paypal?
  20. i believe it does mention connection improvements for lte along with wifi.
