  1. My mapping is now on Sensorly. Like I said though, for some reason my trip up on Hwy E was showing full 100% LTE signal even a few miles up (as high was -59 dbm!), but on the way back it seemed more accurate, so that shouldn't show full strength there. Was strange!
  2. I think he had Sprint Wimax selected, which somehow shows gray coverage in those areas.
  3. Received pretty good speed tests, too, around the site Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
  4. Looks like the LTE source is at WI-16 and WI-83 in Hartland. I get a very strong LTE signal there. I also drove a little northeast of there and LTE strength seemed to lock in full longer than on the way back. I think that was a fluke. Did a decent amount of driving to find this. Hopefully Sensorly will show my trip! I drove to Nashotah, too, but the LTE signal seemed a little stronger at 16/83.
  5. Considering I live/work in that area I may have to take a little drive tonight and turn on Sensorly
  6. http://www.engadget.com/2013/06/17/sprint-launches-lte-in-22-new-cities/ Sprint today announced Fond du Lac as being officially launched and Fort Atkinson and Watertown being "soon"
  7. I have a Note II. I hope this is not some kind of "bug" with the 800 SMR band on this device that they are disabling access to that band. We know the iPhone has a special PRL that gives lowest priority to 800. I hope the Note II doesn't need complete lack of priority!
  8. Maybe Sprint realizes they need to be honest, even if they admit it will take a while, to keep customers. The standard "if something happens there will be a press release" won't cut it anymore. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  9.

#propertybrothers Hope this guy enjoys his 3 shorter block walk

  10. RT @D_Magno32: For every RT this gets I will donate 10cents to Red Cross for those affected in Moore,OK (deadline is midnight) #PrayForOkla

  11. That sounds better than meeting up at the rest stop
  12. What does 90 day forecast mean? It will be completed within 90 days? Parents live close to there (signal isn't great at their house)
  13. Looks like the site is in Oregon (WI, not the state )
  14. If you look at www.sensorly.com you'll see the coverage range. Extended a few miles.
  15. Speeds averaged between 12-17 mbps before and after the tower but a few tests were over 20. even at the edge of the coverage I was getting 8mbps. Should have no issues streaming. I should mention also.. not sure where it was but I did get 2.4mbps on a 3G speed test, not bad!
  16. Drove on 41 up to Appleton and back yesterday and was happy with speeds around Allenton. Went up to 29mbps! It seemed like the peak was just outside of the tower area, not direct at. 17. The Photon is 4G WiMAX, not LTE. There are a couple of WiMAX towers in Madison for licensing reasons only. They've been up for a couple of years now. There are also a couple in Milwaukee.
  18. Normally a meetup spot would be a bar or something but.. better to be outdoors to get signal
  19. Maybe if the weather gets consistently better we can have a Wisconsin S4GRU meetup. One possible place would be having a picnic at the I-94 E rest stop at Lake Mills (Since we'd be under 4G)

I did get 2.1 mbps at 94/26 on 3G So why is 3G so terrible in Fort Atkinson with the upgrade? Didn't try it in Lake Mills. And OOPS. I forgot to turn on Sensorly.. :/

I won't drive to the tower, little out of the way, but I'll stop at the one in Fort Atkinson so I'll be right at the tower.
  23. It might be a little late for pictures but yes I'll take a screen shot or two.
