1,000 sites per month sounds impressive (up from 800/month we heard previously), but if they're talking about having an 85,000 site network, it would take them 7 years to touch all of them.  They actually need to speed up more, IMO.  Especially given how weak the network continues to be outside of populated areas.

If they kicked me off of Sprint's network today and said I couldn't have it back, I'd switch carriers as soon as possible.  (Not possible right away, mind you.)

And let's say they only plan to put it on half their sites, that's still abut 3.5 years.

Was exploring the support section of Sprint's Website (https://www.sprint.com/en/support/device.html) to see if there's anything new.....

.... and here's something new I noticed: T-Mobile Network Experience

    Any takers?

Since this is the case, what happens when TMobile completely shuts the Sprint network.  Will all customers with Sprint phones have to get a new SIM to keep using their phone?

So right before the merger was complete or right afterwards I was able to connect to all the T-Mobile bands on my Note 10+.  It was great because even though I have a Magic Box, if I go toward the interior of my work building it would connect to Spring Band 25 but the data and connection was absolutely useless.  Since I have been able to connect to T-Mobile the interior parts of the building would connect to 1 of 3 different bands of T-mobile and give me good enough service to use data in the interior.  About a month or so ago, I don't know if there was a profile or PRL change but now my phone will not connect to the T-Mobile bands at work.  It will sit on that crappy Band 25 connection for a minute or so then go "no service" and then finally reconnect to 3G which is useless also.  It's almost as if they turned off the capability of using T-Moblie towers around my work area.  Unfortunately everywhere else I go gets good enough Sprint signal that it will never connect to a T-mobile tower so I can see if it is just my work area or my phone that has issues.

I have even network reset my phone where it goes through the initial provisioning and hands-free activation and that has not helped either.  Obviously I have done PRL and profile updates that didn't help either.   I'm in the Atlanta/Decatur, GA area for my work.  Anyone else notice this?

    I'm also seeing this here.

Well folks, after 20 years with Sprint... I couldn't take the slow data at home and near my home.   7mbps down (on a good day) and .3 up.    Today I switched to AT&T prepaid.  141mbps down and 10 up.  Hugely better!    Unlimited Plus for $50. (current offer)   Saves me $$ and way better speed.     It's been long time and I just got tired of waiting for network improvements.

    Best of luck to you.

  5. Does anyone know why I wouldn't be able to roam on T-Mobile's network?  I went to an area today where I usually lose Sprint coverage but roam on T-Mobile.  But today, it gave me a message that the selected network, T-Mobile, was unavailable.

Is there some code I can put in to fix that?

I'm assuming some of those people complaining about B41 loss have the S20 or another current 5G phone, because then the T-Mobile network becomes primary and you will lose B41.

Not defending it.  I know how frustrating it is, and I've echoed the all eggs into 5G concern before, too.

This is one of the things I've been wondering.  Will new T-Mobile add LTE 41 to their existing network?  Or will they just add N41 to their network, and slowly shut down B41?

    I love this stuff:

“Standalone 5G really is the future of wireless connectivity,” said Karri Kuoppamaki, vice president of Technology Development and Strategy at T-Mobile, who noted that SA is what enables the more transformative 5G capabilities like self-driving vehicles, super-charged IoT and real-time translation.

Good luck making money out of IoT. 🤣

Which reminds me, N41 is not included in the 5G SA launch so they have to expend additional time to bring that over. They could not wait until now to connect both n71 and n41 to the SA network?

So their SA 5G network is only N71 right now?
