Anyone on thoughts of the iPhone 6 versus iPhone 6+ on screen size. The more I use my wife's I realize it's great when laying on the couch but I'm not convinced it would be good for carrying around work 12 hours.

 

Any thoughts would be helpful

I'm using the 6 without a case and it feels so right in hand. I played with a note 3 in the store for an hour (they didn't have a plus on display and the note is quite similar in size). It's too big to comfortably operate one-handed and carry, imo. The bigger battery would have been nice, though. The 6 is a homerun in the size/feel department.

Surely, they must have a unique gci, right? Or would they just appear as a regular site.

So, I need some help. I last used my iPhone 5s on 7.1.2, and ran an iCloud backup. It's not allowing me to restore that backup on my 6 with 8.0. Can you only restore from the same iOS version? Also, I can't seem to get my photo stream back. I've tried disabling/re-enabling that feature, and nothing appears in my "photos" app. Thoughts?

I just heard on the news that O'Hare has once again reclaimed the title of "worlds busiest airport." First time since 2004. Just in time, Sprint. It's good to be a Sprint customer these days.

Mike, you're the programmer, and I'm just a user with zero programming experience, but wouldn't it be possible/easier to just show the connected band by gci? What I mean is, instead of worrying about the plmn sticking on certain phones, and not showing band 41 all the time. What about just a rule of "whenever the gci ends in xx, it will equal band 26, 07F/00A/00B/087 = band 41 (Chicago), etc.." Just a thought.

I drive by O'Hare nightly on Manheim, but I'll be inside to leave for my honeymoon on Sunday. How do I check for a das?

Well, I'm on board with the 6. Just picked mine up. What a homerun this phone is. It's a perfect size, and the way it switches between bands is phenomenal. Way better than the 5s. I'm so happy right now.

I'm so torn about which phone to buy. All the Sprint stores I've called only have the 6 on display, not the plus. I need to hold both, but I just can't stand the amount of people in an Apple store this time of year. A few of my local stores actually have some 128's in stock, ready for full price purchase (I was shocked).

Question: If I have a B25 site that I have added a note to in SCP, and then I see that same note when I am connected to B26, is that definitely coming from the same site?

Yes. Only the sector id in brackets will change, but if the site id stays the same, you'll get the same note.

Being in Phoenix now makes me miss sprint in Chicago. Feel like the stone ages out here with data.

You absolutely can get the the gci. You have to covert the cell identity decimal to hex. Add a zero to the beginning of your result. Use this one. http://www.binaryhexconverter.com/decimal-to-hex-converter

Does being on band 41 increase data usage? I was analyzing my data usage and noticed a drastic spike in data usage from 3 GB in May to 9 GB starting in June after the 4.4.3 update. I know having faster speeds mean more usage but i know I haven't been using my phone much differently since the update.

Yeah, I went to walgreens today to buy rubbing alcohol, and there were actually strength choices: 70% isopropyl, and 91%. Since the scratches were really angering me, I rage purchased the 91% 'er, and rubbed that lens to death with a soaked Q-tip. Worked like a charm. Thanks for the help, folks.

Apparently, you can track on ups.com using only your phone number. Some iPhone pre-order'ers are reporting this method to give you more information than Apple's website.

The neo hybrid one. It has a nice quality. They're shipping out "button stabilizers" for free. Not sure what they do. I just hope the case fits the phone correctly or I'll be returning it obviously lol.

 

They have a model that had a metal aluminum band but I didn't want the reception to be affected.

If it helps, I've ordered 3 devices from Sprint and have never received a tracking email. When I ordered 5s's for me and my fiance last September, I had to actually call to get the order number to track on their website. After checking randomly every day, a UPS tracking number just showed up one day, and the package was already out for delivery. Their ordering process seems jacked up to me.

Does anyone know if Sprint will replace the camera lens glass on my m8 if I have insurance? I don't know how, but my lens looks like someone scratched it up with sandpaper. I can't even take decent pictures anymore. :/
