LTE Booster
in Misc.
What is the best LTE signal booster for someone that doesn't have good wifi? Unfortunately we have to depend on satellite internet connection that's data capped and subpar most of the time.

Any expansion in the upstate of South Carolina?

Do all carriers or devices do this or is it just Sprints network or devices? I noticed this too, and I'm sure this doesn't help with the Sprint bashing. Is there a post that explains more about why this happens?^^^^^This.
I get LTE almost everywhere on i95 from i26 in South Carolina, almost all the way to South Florida, with the exception of a few places.
Streaming music or video will cause the phone to stop scanning for LTE if you loose your LTE signal, though. Most of the sites through there are NV upgraded, so if you do get knocked down to EVDO and stay there, you shouldn't have a problem streaming music as Post-NV EVDO provides decent speeds.

After reading these post , It makes me feel better about band 26, I know for sure now my home site hasn't been optimized yet, hopefully. My home site has had b26 about 6 to 7 months, but can't hold on to it. I stay connected to 1900 lte until I go inside and then drop back to 3g. The neighboring site hasn't received band 26 yet. Could this be why its taking so long to be optimized? Any ideas?

As a owner of a business, I use 3000 plus minutes per month.Believe it or not, people still make phone calls, and if you have one tower serving a ton of people, the voice carriers can get loaded up making your outbound calls take a little longer to connect.

5 to 10 seconds isn't a problem, but often I run into anything between 20 and 30 seconds. This happens on 2 different sites that I've found.I think you guys are overstating the issue. Is sometimes 5-10 seconds really a "problem"?

is this a normal problem that will continue, or something that can and will be corrected?Outgoing call setup delays? If a tri band device, that is an e/CSFB effect.
AJ
Will you provide a link that explains "e/CSFB effects"

Would backhaul have any effect on outgoing calls being delayed. This seems to happen when I'm connected to lte.

1x cdmaThrough wifi calling or over 1x cdma?

Is anyone else having a lag in outgoing voice calls? 20 to 30 seconds. Is this a network or a device related issue? My Evo never had this problem. Any fixes?

can you provide me a link.See the VTel thread, Sprint is working with VTel to ensure access to 2.6 GHz vendors (Nokia) and devices.

The spark icon only indicates LTE, which may be band 25, 26, or 41. Band 41, which provides the highest speeds, is rarely seen outside major cities, but lots of new equipment has been spotted for it in small towns and rural areas which should be activated soon. Band 26 LTE, which provides longer distance coverage and better building penetration, is available in your part of the world with the latest iphones or android triband phones.

will band 41 be in areas outside cities due to tower spacing.I really wish Sprint only used the Spark logo for Band 41 high speed LTE. However, on Triband devices (except the Nexus 5) it shows the Spark logo anytime you are connected to LTE. Regardless of band or type.

I have a business account . Can or can't you roam with evdo? I just recently switched to a business line for the $40 month unlimited hotspot, and other discounts.Sprint blocked EVDO roaming years ago. You can only get EVDO roaming with a custom PRL.

The last update for heartbleed seemed to stop my device from roaming. Anyone else experience this issue?
