Who would use a charger that didn't come with the phone? Yeah I get it you can buy cables for cheap but why?

Because I have chargers spread through out the house and all of our cars and in the office at work

Any word on any updates for wifi calling? Is Sprint the only carrier that didn't have it already setup at release?

In a pinch google voice integration + hang out dialer work as VoIP on Wifi or Mobile Data

Fierce Wireless shows that Sprint is trying to update it's status with this tidbit of information on CA for the Note 7.

There are times when I see a HD light on at the top of my Note 7. I am guessing that this is for HD voice. I wonder how this new HD video pla differs from the ol regular unlimited plan that I have....anyone?

I live in Chicago, anyone know how to enable/check for 3x CA on the device? I still only see 2 carrier under ##debug# LTE engineering

So far, which phone between the 5 and 7, is the better overall signal perfomer?
half a day with the note 7 so far, sitting in the same spot i've been in all week for this particular location it seem the note 7 was slightly better.. sitting at -99/98 dBm where the note 5 was in the -100ish range. I don't have 2 lines avaliable for me to do side by side unfortunately

There's a blue light filter option(help people fall asleep easier at night with a warmer screen), did some of those user turned it on by accident?

I doubt it. The note 7 has more features but the same chip as any other smartphone. It should have had more than a snapdragon 820
Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk
Not much other choice for Andriod, the top chips are either snapdragon or Exynos, and the Exynos GPU is pretty slow in comparison. sad to say, Apple single core still the best out there

I don't doubt the iphone is faster, but the Note 7 is pushing nearly 4x the pixels... I would say try that again with the game launcher restricting to HD or FHD, and using dev option to reduce the transition animation to 0.5x and compare again to see if the note 7 was able to close the gap a good bit or not

Well from what I see its not a bad rf performer but it prefers band 25 over band 41 for some reason. I can still see a really good band 41 signal but it will not change. The note 5 holds on to band 41 so much better but is weaker on band 25. Band 26 on both devices are about equal. Maybe slightly better on the note 7. Also I notice my note 7 always has better speed test results than the note 5. I was in walmart early this morning and my note 7 was on band 41 maybe 15% of the time while the note 5 was on band 41 around 85% of the time. I was shocked. At my house the difference is not as much. But the note 5 definitely without a doubt is better at switching and staying on band 41. Maybe a software update will correct this.

Can you try to see if adjusting the ##Data# LTE band priority for B41 first help?

I got my note 5 right here

Did we ever get a ERP/EIRP report for the note 7? I'm planning to take advantage of the best buy $20 loyalty credit offer to "early upgrade" 2 of my lines

I would not mind getting the microSD back along with a few of the other new features. The USB C would mean i need a new gear VR though, hope they have a free Gear VR promo

My fingerprint sensor sucks after this update! Cleared caches and eeerrthang

a trick i like to use is to use the home button to wake up the phone, and leave the thumb on the button for the fingerprint, rather than using the power button and then try to fingerprint. seems to help

I tried every number just doesn't work:-\ is s/n serial number rite?
Yes, but why do you need the serial number? Depending on what you are trying to do more often they want the IMEI or ESN?

Anyone having issue with thier gear staying connected to the phone since the update. I have a gear 2 that worked flawlessly before the update, but now staying connected is impossible

Oops, i edited my postThe first rule about illegal tethering on S4GRU website is we don't talk about illegal tethering. Take that question over to XDA. The top brass will come down on this quickly.

I've been having some serious battery drainage, and charging issues. When charging, I hardly get full charges. Around 9pm last night, I had 16% battery left, wake up this morning I have 88%. Anyone else experiencing this? It's been like this for the past couple of days. And I always get the Samsung+ health alert a lot, in response to this. It scans and says everything is fine. Could it be an app? Yesterday Signal Check was eating 23%. The day before, voicemail was 16%, etc......
is SCP's location feature turned on and set to high accuracy? that can drain battery. Otherwise try changing your cable, a cable that's dying can prevent proper charging

So, when does everybody think the GS7 will be released? From rumors I've read on the web, I'm thinking Feb.
Sounding like March based on current latest rumor/news

I may be holding a S8 by the time Nougat for N5 is out....
I may even no longer be with Sprint, since they finally completely killed 2 year contract upgrade pricing and rumor is they are killing Loyalty monthly credit in April.....
T-mo is looking better and better
