Im at work and stuck on the phone. Is that in the 800 prl thread or is there another I don't see at the moment. Does that 800 help with getting 2600? Sent from Nexus 5

Doesn't the phone get the time updated from the carrier every few minutes? Sent from Nexus 5

Big improvement in usability and data at 94/i70 since the site a few miles away went LTE live/accepted. There is one in between so it kind of surprised me. Sent from Nexus 5

I ran into that grabbing the gci/pci for one of the newly accepted sites today off 94. Edit. I just reread the wall post about eCSFB and I guess the fix is to get 3G up to NV accepted. Have any of the 3 got 3G updates and did the problem go away?

Maybe the way the date/time is stored as a number causes it to display oddly when unpacked to a human readable format this close to the time switch. I would just see if the phone does black magic and fixes the dates Sunday morning. Sent from Nexus 5

Its 5-6 db better if you can trust the reading is calibrated. Transfer rate is very good. Sent from Nexus 5

Ok if I am not worried about connecting to B41 until the Spark update, which is the best rx sensitivity modem without 1x issues? Anyoned got a good link? I thought .17 was the good one but then I read .17 and .23 are the same. So far the N5 is a damn good phone, but so was the Note 2.Its not going to be substantially better until I get some triband live. At my desk at work the Note 2 hovered around - 109 to -111 most of the time. Hopefully Monday the N5 will do a little better.

I'm having an unexpected issue with tasker on the N5 I don't seem to get any results on cellnear scans. I think it may be because it turns 1x off when LTE is connected. I used that a lot. Sent from Nexus 5

Got mine its still downloading some apps and I got a bazillion passwords to enter later but its all activated, unlocked rooted etc. Someone on here will probably be a bit proud when I say the first app I stuck on it after verifying it worked was Signal Check Pro. GCI/PCI goodness baby!

I guess you mean just the unlock part not the full root and custom recovery. That's the only part that wipes user data if I understand the process right. Also as I understand it I could just unlock and root and still take the OTA Spark update and do the custom recovery after without losing my data. Is that right? I may go that route and then flash a custom recovery after 2600 works. Sent from my SPH-L900

I guess my backorder for the N5 can stay in place . It's probably going to be about half the price of the S5 and Knox free. Still the S5 has everything I had on my want list. Sent from my SPH-L900

I wish I hadn't read this now I'm thinking of canceling my order until the spark update goes live. It was something I planned on waiting on but I just had poor willpower one day and ordered it. If it doesn't ship by the 24th I may cancel if the S5 looks good. Sent from my SPH-L900

I just wish all the Sprint reps would be as well trained and up on the facts as those who post here. A friend at work wanted to switch to Framily on his 3 lines and was told because he is under contract he would have to pay an extra 15 a month, but he got his daughter the IPhone almost a year ago. Turned him off on Sprint. He is likely to switch when his contract is out. Sent from my SPH-L900
