This is good.

Seriously?! 2.5GHz on Sprint penetrated this store but you're telling me neither AT&T's 700MHz nor PCS got through?! 8T8R GOD DAMN those are some strong antennas.

Sprint seriously needs to reorganize their schedule for network optimization. My girlfriend lives by two cell sites that have been completed with support for all three bands for months now, and she still only gets 3G in her house. If I go to the living room and do a PRL update though, I can grab 2 bars of band 25. Band 26's range is so bad, makes me wonder why they turned it on since its basically unusable.

Williamsburg was not good. I was going to a concert, lurking around on band 25 - only did one speedtest, looked like 1Mbps. However, there was some weak band 41 at the Music Hall. Good sign of whats to come for that place!

YESSS we have the BEST COVERAGE OUT OF THEM ALL HAHAHAHA /s But seriously, what T-Mobile did today was genius. Will the other carriers have the nerve to counter?! Will Sprint just say screw it and kill off family share?! Is this a sign that unlimited data will actually return one day, since AT&T did the same rollover idea with minutes?

Will Sprint refarm PCS spectrum?
payturr replied to Thomas L.'s topic in Network, Network Vision/LTE Deployment
I'm personally in favor of immediate refarming in markets where B25 is completed due to the current issue of deploying band 26 and 41 at a fast enough pace.. Additional carriers would keep the G block carrier uncongested, which means much faster speeds comparable to competitors, which will keep Sprint's name good in such congested markets. Just my two cents. Anyone who has a better argument, I'd love to hear it! -

Will it look good? Yes. I just want more band 26 to cover the holes right now, I can wait for RRPP

I mean it's not a loss to me because I have LTE, and the 3G I connect to is Network Vision 1Mbps 3G, so I'm satisfied, it's just very peculiar to see. Makes me giddy on the inside though, if they're optimizing B26/adding B41 I'll be really freaking excited.

PRL update and toggling airplane mode didn't connect me to EVDO at my tower. Any reason why they would shut down EVDO at my tower?

This is INCREDIBLY peculiar. As some of you may know, I live about 140 yards away from a Sprint tower. I was curious to check my signal strength on LTE and EVDO. The findings shock me. LTE: EVDO: Any rational explanation for this? I thought EVDO would do better! PRL update fixed nothing.
