  1. I wonder if the Sprint Nexus 6 will get WiFi Calling support as part of the Android M update.
  2. Appreciate the info. So basically, you have 800MHz for voice and 1x data? So I would imagine that NGN Densification/Small Cells/2.5GHz would be a priority in these affected markets?
  3. And the RootMetrics scores for Last Vegas are up: http://www.rootmetrics.com/us/rsr/las-vegas-nv/2015/2H Looks like the CA "optimization issue" that the Regional VP mentioned in his blog post definitely affected the results for Sprint.
  4. Android M has native Wi-Fi Calling: http://www.phone-probe.com/android-m-features-native-wifi-calling/ Hopefully, that means Sprint will support it.
  5. Sprint Won't Join 2016 Airwave Auction, Saying Network Is Ample Link: http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-09-26/sprint-won-t-join-2016-airwave-auction-saying-network-is-ample "“Sprint’s focus and overarching imperative must be on improving its network and market position,” Chief Executive Officer Marcelo Claure said in the e-mailed statement. “Sprint has the spectrum it needs to deploy its network architecture of the future.”" ------ Well, this is a bit surprising given Sprint's participation/support for a 30 MHz Reserve... So now T-Mobile is free to get 30 MHz of 600 MHz spectrum?
  6. Here's why the confusion happened: All the frontline phone/web/store reps were essentially kept in the dark on this until the last minute.
  7. Apologies, but not sure what you mean by "Its time has run out". Why is this information still publicly available/accessible via search? Is this an oversight by Sprint? Sprint could easily delete it otherwise, right?
  8. Is this information current? Sprint needs to update the formatting of this site and integrate it into: http://www.sprint.com/netdotcom/#!/ http://www.sprint.com/netdotcom/#!/ also needs to be readily accessible from the main Sprint home page.
  9. Yes. If you specifically ask in-store: 2 lines for $110/month. $50/month for each additional line. (Unlimited Talk/Text/Data).
  10. Just announced: Not So Fast T-Mobile! Sprint Beats Your Price with World’s Best Offer on iPhone 6s: $1/Month http://newsroom.sprint.com/news-releases/not-so-fast-t-mobile-sprint-beats-your-price-with-worlds-best-offer-on-iphone-6s-1month.htm Nice deal! For a limited time, beginning Friday morning in Sprint branded retail stores, Sprint will offer the iPhone 6s 16GB for $1/month and the iPhone 6s Plus for $5/month with the trade-in of an iPhone 6. Higher memory configurations of the iPhone 6s are also value-priced at $5.77/month for the 64GB and $10.53 for the 128GB with the trade in of an iPhone 6. For the 6s Plus, higher memory configurations cost $9.77/month for the 64GB and $14.53 for the 128GB with an iPhone 6 trade–in. Sprint will also offer a $10/month price on iPhone 6s 16GB or $14/month on iPhone 6s Plus 16GB with the trade-in of an iPhone 5s. Through Dec. 31, 2015, customers on any other carrier who switch to Sprint or existing Sprint customers who are upgrade-eligible and turn in any other smartphone will get a promotional rate of $15 per month on iPhone 6s 16GB, regularly $22/ month without a trade-in.
  11. From what I gathered, the article said that these upgrades were "carrier-driven". Sprint probably made a specific request to include 2.5 GHz. "So even though the Levi’s Stadium DAS performed exceedingly well — according to Dutto “we turned it on and from day one it exceeded expectations” — and that there wasn’t any capacity problems during the Niners’ 2014 season, the expected impending crush coming in February spurred what Dutto called “carrier-driven upgrades” that included the need to take over some previous storage-room space to house the increased amount of head-end gear."
  12. So we'll have reliable cellular service before reliable Metro service... ;-)
  13. Just noticed this article: DGP upgrades Levi’s Stadium DAS in preparation for Super Bowl 50 Fantastic news on this for Sprint... Could it be two carriers of 2.5 GHz?...
