  1. I'm having the same issues. Also cell standby is using more battery before the update.
  2. Any 8t8r panel sightings in the stl or St Charles areas?
  3. I live near Ronald Reagan in Lake St Louis and have noticed band 25/26 are becoming kinda overburdened all the time.
  4. I was in the valley last Friday and also had a poor experience. Slow b41 that dropped to barely usable 3g inside. I was at Mimi's Cafe.
  5. My previous experience at Busch stadium was a lot different. It was mid June right after the spark update (for the nexus 5) and I was on the first base side in the 200s level and data was usable (around 2 Mbps) but no where near like it was this time. My experience this time was much better, but I was on the 3rd base side 200s level. My RSRP Tuesday night was around -95. I also went in ballpark village for the first time and checked my phone inside and had almost equal speeds in there as well. So I'm not sure if one side of the stadium has better coverage or if something was optimized since the last time I was there.
  6. Went to the cardinals game last night and had great b41 speeds. I was with a few cousins that have Verizon and we did speed tests side by side and at the begining of the game speeds were comparable on both networks in the mid 30's down and around 10 up. Then around the 7th inning we did another test and speeds on Verizon dropped to around 13 down and 10 up while sprint was pretty much unchanged from the first test. In the past they always gave me trouble about sprint but last night sprint shut them up. I know b41 isnt anything new at the ballpark but just wanted to share because it was a moment I was proud to be a sprint customer.
  7. Just came inside from doing yard work and noticed my nexus 5 is holding on to a band 41 signal in my room for the first time. I'm pretty sure its the same tower I've been getting a weaker signal from outside for months but for some reason tonight its hanging on in my room. Why the sudden change?
  8. I have recently seen speeds at my home drop significantly on B25, and B26 at my home. They both are averaging around 1.2 mbps down. I hope this doesn't mean they are both saturated already since B26 hasn't been around long and speeds were never great on it here. I think my only hope is B41. My house is right out of the spark covered area but if i sit outside long enough I can eventually connect to a weak B41 connection anywhere from -105,-120 dBm if I am on the east side of my house. Speeds are much better than B25, B26 at around 8-14 mbps down. My room is on the east side of my house but no B41 inside when standing two feet away on the outside i can get around 10 mbps on a weak (-114)dBm B41 signal. My question is, when these new 8t8r radios are installed will signal improve enough to penetrate into my house?
  9. It was weird because it happened both days and did stay connected the first day for a while and speeds were great on B25 around 10 down and 3 up. The second day when I stayed connected speeds were around 3 down and less than 1 up with a high ping. I don't understand why I was being pushed to 3g the first day when speeds were excellent.
  10. Thats weird. At least signal at the state fair in Sedalia was decent enough even with the larger crowd on Saturday. The only thing i did notice is i kept being kicked to 3g. The only thing i can think of is maybe i was picking up a distant B26 signal that wasn't eCSFB enabled or could it have been that so many people were on one tower.
  11. Was in Sedalia and Warrensburg over the weekend. What is taking so long for Warrensburg to launch LTE?
  12. Anyone been in sedalia mo recently? If so how's service? I'll be at the state fair for the next two days.
  13. I think its important to compare networks because its what every single consumer is going to do.
  14. Hoping your right! I guess we will all see how credible it is in 30-45 days because thats when its rumored they will start it according to him.
  15. No but I did see that article whenever it came out. I looked in the exclusive leaks on the tk tech news app for android. I don't believe every leak out there but this looks scary.
  16. Yes thats why my family went with sprint last year too. If they do try and phase unlimited data out their just shooting themselves in the foot.
  17. I really hope not but I'm seeing leaked images of shared family plans. Check out the ------- app in the exclusive leaks tab.
  18. Looks like sprints going to phase out unlimited data plans...
  19. First time today I realized I had a band 41 connection outside my house. Its too weak for inside but I'm surprised I even have a signal around my house unless there's a site closer to my house than I think. https://www.dropbox.com/s/l1nqmqthttj5dbw/Screenshot_2014-07-15-18-37-18.png https://www.dropbox.com/s/yfoq1kwyrakr07g/Screenshot_2014-07-15-18-37-31.png
  20. Everything you said is hopfully true. I didnt say I believed they dropped their throttling policy completly just said they are not going by the rules specifically as they said when they announced it. If they are throttling and keeping the network speeds higher across the board that is great.
  21. I also use quite a bit of data per use cycle around 10-15 GB a month. I also have had no problems with throttling. But I have heard a few different places that Sprint dropped their throttling policy because of net neutrality criticisms. And hearing everyones' experiences im beginning to believe its true.
