  1. Where can I get a great view of 4G LTE availability for Sprint in North New Jersey Elizabeth/Newark/ Belleville NJ?

download the sensorly app. It shows you crowdsourced real time coverage of sprint lte. Also shares your coverage if you let it. It's a prerequisite in your welcome package around here.

Almost cried when I saw that my phone has finally found the elusive LTE! This was just at the Whipple Rd exit in Union City.

Is 880 below Whipple to the bridge covered yet? Complete the circle someone!

Its decision to cut the Galaxy S III's contract price to $99 supposedly helped Samsung's flagship climb from 14 percent of Sprint sales in October to 39 percent over the more recent 3-month span. The Galaxy S III didn't play as much of a role elsewhere, Kantar says.

That's a lot of LTE devices. At least half the devices sold should be lte. Should be more purple on the map!

  4. I see the same behavior sending sprint to sprint on an EVO 4g LTE.

Just the @ symbol missing or everything after the @ symbol too?

I just tested MetroPCS to Sprint and @ symbol missing again. Sigh.

@ symbol missing for me isnt such a big deal, but everything after @ for my wife is a big deal.

edit: noticed this also affects outgoing texts. hmmm

  5. I am using an s3 and when someone sends me an @ symbol including an email address the symbol is missing in text messages. It shows in the GV app but never in the actual text message. My wife has an old Palm Pixi with GV and its worse. She doesn't get the @ or anything after the @ symbol as well. Not sure when this started but just noticed it today. I checked old text messages and I noticed I got an @ symbol in DEC 21st 2012, so this is a fairly recent development, I think.

Can anyone test this out for me? This happens whether or not the other party is using GV or not. I've only tested Sprint to Sprint. So any other tests would be appreciated.

  6. Today at Alameda High School there was a crew working on a site. I'm not sure if they were for Verizon or Sprint but I saw a truck filled with huge Ericson boxes and I believe the SF Bay is a Samsung market if I'm not mistaken. The whole day my Blackberry (iPhone shattered recently) has gone from 1XEV to 1X to 1x the whole day which I'd assume they were working a Sprint site and not a Verizon one because I wouldn't have been effected. Anyway they were adding what I imagine was the backhall (large black cables) when I left the area so hopefully LTE soon!! :tu:

    Isn't Alameda decently covered?
