50% battery remaining after 10 hrs of use is impressive. On day one I didn't feel my battery lasted long with minimal usage. Today was the first time I ran it this long. I was down to 10% using it for close to 10 hrs. Currently it's charging (seems to take hrs to fully charge the battery) and I'll do the same again later today and see if battery discharge remains the same, improves, or gets worse. I actually just purchased the 5.0 and must say I'm quite surprised by it. I've read reviews that would cause people to never buy it and reviews that make you feel like you have to have one RIGHT now. Having the Epic 4G Touch I'd often be out of juice long before the day was over. I'm FB'g, Tapatalk'g, listening to music....you name it and I'm doing it from my phone; hence the battery not lasting thru out the day. I've been on this thing (5.0) since 8 this morning. I think I've put it down for about an hr and just hit 10% battery remaining. My phone would've been dead long ago. I actually prefer this to my Galaxy 10.1 since I ran into many apps I use not being optimized for Honeycomb. That was a bummer. Sent from my YP-G70 using Tapatalk 2

The Photon having a kickstand was great since the Evo 3D didn't. Add to that the fact it's an active kickstand and one couldn't ask for anything better. Who'd have thought a kickstand with a brain. Sent from my YP-G70 using Tapatalk 2

From the Evo 4G to Evo 3D (tried to like it but couldn't) to Photon and I couldn't have been happier. The Photon is an outstanding phone and since everything out the box was top notch, I didn't feel the immediate need to tinker with it. I applaud the devs community for everything they were able to accomplish with a phone that didn't have a lot of support. I'd still have the Photon if my want of a new phone hadn't kicked in. I gave mine away to a family member who was still using their busted Hero so for her, it was truly a step up.
