  1. If you know where the bestbuy, costco, and lowe's on heampsted road is, that's exactly where I'm at, but you can pull B41 the whole way up the road, but there's about 3 towers in that general area, one on a water tower right off old philly pike, one near the HACC campus and I'm really believing the other is right outside the bestbuy on the interstate. But I generally get -88 to -109 on B41 and inside the entire store I'm always on B41, never drops a connection. Now granted the nexus 6 (motorola) has the best radios in a phone I've ever!, but even dealing with customers with sprint, every single person had strong LTE signals in the store. I just have yet to grab a phone and test to see if CA is active in this area, might have to try next time I'm diagnosing someone's s6. Working for samsung has it's perks sometimes
  2. Well after the announcement of CA look what I get at work, man I wish the nexus 6 supported CA
  3. Another win for sprint, verizon's network went down for a good bit of the area (lancaster, york, etc) and people kept coming in asking me what was wrong with there phone (work for samsung) and were surprised to hear the all mighty verizon actually went down. I said very happily, well I have full signal and my calls and data work fine with my sprint phone This was the outage, pretty crazy
  4. Well this literally just happened at the best buy off the greenfield exist...now I can tell people how great sprint is at work
  5. I'm assuming so because he was on 1x,and the only other CDMA carrier is sprint, unless Verizon roams on someone else that I'm not aware of
  6. Well today was a proud day to be a sprint customer, was at York college for a friend's party, Verizon.... Roaming, AT&T....3g,t-mobile......edge,me with good old sprint....LTE!!!!! And the signal was great around - 92, yet they were still saying that sprint was bad...this is why I'll stick with sprint for the long haul!!!!
  7. I have a nexus 6....and use signal check pro, so i look at db signal (refer to my op), not the bar representations and I was talking about second carrier band 25 when I visit the york area (shentel), it's really slow at least from my testing.Sometimes I try to force a b26 connection just to get better speeds. second carrier, again, in my testing, seems to be just as over-saturated as b25 was before b26 came into play
  8. nope, or I haven't ran into it for the areas I'm in, just a lot of b26 and the one area of b41 I hit, but it's like progress has stopped out here. Haven't seen speed increases, just adjustments, so I connect to b26 more often indoors. I just don't understand how they're working on the towers out here and adding things, it's very random at least from my perspective. From my individual testing and my talks with a local sprint rep, the signal strengths are the only thing that's staying consistent right now.
  9. Well, the last few trips I had to york...band 25 second carrier is well.....really slow, feel like it was a step back honestly...
  10. Saw some wires coming down from the sprint tower on rt 30, was that some antenna adjust? Or is b41 getting a little closer to park city mall, still can only pick it up near hacc - lancaster campus
  11. probably not great if it's a saturated area, but everyone's mileage varies, even in some places that I'm in with LTE, when I drop to 3g, basic things load fine, but don't try to stream anything HD
  12. but what about the nexus 6 and everything it supports...I'm really surprised (though it was after these plans) that it couldn't support it
  13. Haha, good deal, that's why I just let the sprint haters hate, they still think it's the early 2000s, sprints got a plan now and they really are following through with this new management
  14. I can even see your signal is a lot lower than mine, my radio strength also has a lot to do with how often I connect to b41,25 and 26, and Motorola generally has better radios than any manufacturer
  15. that's the tower I was referring to as well, but yea, mines jumps right onto b41 and stays there I'll drop down to b25 for maybe a second but then it goes back to 41,now I'm just assuming from your sig you have an iPhone, I don't know if the band priority is different for the iPhones compared to the Android phones, otherwise I would say change your band priority and see if it still only connects to b25
  16. Yep, Baltimore market, near the Baltimore national pike where Lowes is, I always could connect to b41 but my Nexus 6 gets the best connections than any phone I've ever had. Even out in Columbia I'm hitting b41 but it's sprint branded, definitely better speeds on the clearwire towers
  17. What does this mean for us? Do we have to get new phones?!? Isn't the note edge the only phone with all the capabilities to truly utilize this? I'm just hoping they really get the speeds up to snuff with everyone else, because even in the places that have b41 active, the speeds...well, just make me a little sad http://www.computerworld.com/article/2903874/sprint-to-rollout-lte-advanced-to-chicago-area.html
  18. Well I was on my way to the shady maple buffet in Ephrata PA, and look what I found again, I swear sprint picks the weirdest places to put b41,this is literally out in Amish country, I will say though, speeds are amazing out here, probably because of that exact reason, lol
  19. Just finished talking to a sprint rep that came into my store, he showed me the tower statistics, estimated completion time, what towers had b41 running, everything, man I wish I had the app he had, we have to get our hands on it, lol
  20. Now things are even better, I know what tower is giving off the b41 signal and it's right behind my school!!! Now I actually enjoying coming here, lol
