  1. Yea, it's the area I had I hard time connecting to again when I first spotted it, the whole hacc Lancaster campus is covered with b41 but then it drops as soon as you get a little bit away, which makes me feel like this is a small cell tower, I also work nearby the area so I usually keep testing as well, they've gotten b26 to shentel levels out here rarely do I drop to 3g outside of a small spot
  2. This is everything I got, some decent speeds too even on b26. I can now confirm that this is a tower near the HACC lancaster campus as I only get the signal when I'm there, it drops off to b26 fairly quickly once I get off the campus but hopefully that will change in the next few months.
  3. Yep that's true, once I pass the river, I hit b26 instantly for shentel market, I was just surprised to see b41 out here in lancaster, now obviously since I'm not a paying person on the forums, I'm not allowed to know the details, but I can do my own testing since I know where the towers are. But that's great news, I hope the rest of pa gets covered in b41, but I just hope it's optimized because it really got bad in baltimore or at least since the last time I went there
  4. I thought they were waiting to get approval to start turning it on or something like that, unless I was just confused, because I remember someone talking about them having the back-haul already in place.
  5. I'll try to, when I went back to the area I couldn't get it to connect again, it was very brief. So I'll have to be more thorough when I get a chance to go back. And no worries, I just wish we could put it out for the whole community instead of just a paying few, because as we just saw, anyone can spot these towers. But I will say though, it really looks like they're optimizing b26 very well around here, almost in the lower 90s when I connect to it just like ehrpd, and the hand off has gotten way better, rarely do I drop down to 3g, it stays between 1900 and 800, just wish that magical 2.5ghz would turn on around my house instead of near school
  6. I hope shentel gets the go ahead, because look what I found in the lancaster area
  7. Well guys, some very exciting news!!!!!! Lancaster has some b41!!!!!!!!! Now I couldn't really do a test because I was driving and mapping some areas, but when I glanced down and saw this, I just had to take a screen shot. Man this makes me excited....GO SPRINT!!!!!!! This was near the HACC lancaster campus if anyone was interested. I'm going to go back over there and do a little bit of testing and I am using a nexus 6.
  8. I really hope this happens, and with shentels speed, b41 should be up and running before the end of this year!!! Come oooonnnnnn Shentel!!!!!!
  9. York actually has a lot of clear service, wimax (4g) launched there very earlier when the evo 4g launched, I was hoping they would work their first compared to everywhere else
  10. I can agree, when lte first launched I was seeing up to 30Mbps, then it went down to below the teens, when b26 launched, back up to the high twenties, now sometimes I get 8 at best as well, sometimes lower, it's really saddening
  11. I think everyone is just waiting for b41 at this point. I've checked the root metrics for most of the area and.....well....it's not pretty
  12. Well I don't know what Lancaster is considered in all this...but there's 800mhz all around, but my phone would rather stay on 1900mhz, but it does switch from time to time. It's nothing like when I visit york and stay on 800mhz though. I just wish b41 was here sooner, but my recent trip to Baltimore made me kind of sad because I wasn't really getting fast speeds anymore compared to when spark first launched there.
  13. Phone collecting is great, I have one of every OS released on sprint and a few of the "rare" phones like the dual screened kyocera echo and the first full touch screen blackberry, good old 8350
  14. Nexus 6 will be the new king....I got bored of samsung after the note 2, same thing each time, switched to the one max, after front facing speakers and a bigger phone overall, I'll never go back. The nexus 6 has everything and then some so google/motorola has my purchase this year AND it will support just about every band for gsm, cdma and LTE
  15. Experienced HD voice today...oh my gosh, I've never heard something so clear
  16. In the shentel area, b26 has been on for a long time as I'm sure you know, it just got up to Lancaster it looks like, which is overall good news since it's corporate. It just sucks though, I've only been able to mess around with b41 when I went to Baltimore
  17. Well I guess the older post was right, these were signs of an update, now I connect to LTE more often and the fall back has changed back to eHRPD again, which is great. Now I just wish we could get some of that b41 love
  18. I'm already fully aware it's not, and if you read a couple posts back, I've already stated that as well about eHRPD
  19. well i guess now I get to see the difference between corporate land and shentel each week to see who can upgrade faster, lol, and what blows my mind, even after moving, I still live right next to a sprint tower so I'll really be able to tell when upgrades are happening
  20. well b26 seems like it's coming on in lancaster (near park city mall) I guess sprint wasn't joking about being finished by the end of this year, hooray for sprint/softbank. And also here's a picture of what keeps popping up as far as 3g now
  21. Lancaster area (at least what my old boss tells me is sprint corporate) and I did notice it as well in York. I was no longer connecting to eHRPD when it dropped down to 3g, instead it said EV-DO Rev A. I was able to google search it and an old post from the forums came up about possible work on towers, but I just wanted to confirm with a few others before making that conclusion.
  22. Does anyone know why it seems like for some areas it changed from eHRPD to EV-DO rev A???
