Yeah I have wifi at home too but its only around 10mbps and lte tower that close I might be pulling 20 mbps+ !

Indeed, Hope they keep rolling out the LTE and we get it everywhere!

I hope lte comes to the tower near my house soon too! Speedway/alvernon ( as a bonus for me the tower is literally like 500 ft away!)

I would rather have the tower close to my work upgraded, got wi-fi at home so it doesn't really matter to me. Plus the one by my work has the equipment and the one by my house has legacy panels..

Did a trip around the north side, nothing north of river atm. Still can't believe that it's actually here!

How long do they test before it goes live?

Oh well. It's pretty standard for them to turn it on and off the first couple days. Hopefully newgrounds can drive around the area a bit. I can't randomly justify driving through that area and I'm leaving town Friday (go figure).

Leaving now to check it out. I HAVE to see this!

Well drove around the area running LTE discover and sensorly and got a whole mess of eHRPD. But this is closer then we have ever been so cant wait for more to start lighting up!

Oh no doubt and again I think Mr son knows very well what he's doing.

Technically from a customer perspective I don't see any change... AM I wrong to say that?

 

Now I have to assume softbank has kicked network vision into high gear, but again tough to say.

I agree with you, it does not feel any different. Actually development feels slower in Tucson so yeah, feels like nothing.

False alarm... he was just messing with me. Short vacation I didn't know about to a place with it launched already on the east coast. :-( evil person

I'm getting LTE signal at 4th Ave and 20th Street. Never had it before.

Im not sure if this is true but the customer service rep told me the technicians said they are supposed to have LTE in tucson ready in 3 months or earlier.

Ah, yeah financial. Guess some people care about just that. Also yeah, first round markets started in 12/2011 to 03/2012 so its almost been 2 years, my bad.

Im not really up on how stocks work, but how many people can they lose before its detrimental? The article was basicly telling people that its going to take a long time and that they should really consider staying. I know you guys said that they wont be using any of that money they got on the development of the network but wont that solve their problems? Offer more money to get more contractors and stuff like that. Idk, this whole softbank thing feels pointless.

The problem is that they have been working on the network already.. Why must it take an ADITIONAL 2 years on top of what they have benn doing for, what 3 years now? I know they are working on it but do the contractors and vendors just dont care at all?

Huh.. All i got from that is thats its going to take forever, expect to lose more people, and that one day it will be better.. BUT WHEN!! lol, what can you do but wait.

At least it works up here, i hate going into town.. I work overnights now so these speeds will be high but this is what i have been getting up in the north side of town past ina rd.

I got one of those to.. after they got LTE up in a city 100 miles away..

ugh.. Lol it sucks where I live (Menlo Park, west of Downtown) I am always on roaming when I am home   

Downtown Tucson is balls, im on the north side and get ok 3g.

I'm happy to see Phoenix finally has some sort of LTE going up!! .... anyone in theTucsonarea know of any news? I'm constantly around Oro Valley and Downtown and the East side, and using Signal Check to see if any LTE connects, haha #hopefulwishing
