It has a lot of the widgets that Sense had. I use them for the rom I am using. You might want to check it out.

Nike had all that bad press about sweatshops and bad working conditions and still sits within the leaders for athletic gear. I think unless it comes out that Apple is using stem cells from forced abortions in their products, they won't hurt one bit from bad press.

Rather, Apple’s executives believe the vast scale of overseas factories as well as the flexibility, diligence and industrial skills of foreign workers have so outpaced their American counterparts that “Made in the U.S.A.” is no longer a viable option for most Apple products. It is a rather interesting article, and it illustrates that the hunger of American factories is no longer there, compared to the flexibility and willingness of the Chinese factories.

We haven't seen the specs for the Sprint bound Note (journal) though, but I don't know how much will change from the AT&T version. If the GS3 comes out with a quad core processor and big battery, the only thing the Note will have is a slightly bigger screen and that probably isn't good enough. There might be some interest in the Note as a mini tablet with unlimited LTE internet though.

With the AT&T version getting LTE does this make it a given that if it is released for Sprint, it will get LTE? Will Sprint release it as a phone? And if it is released as a phone, will it be the best deal for mobile computing since it will essentially be a small tablet with unlimited data? But it is certainly coming to both Sprint and Verizon during the first half of the year.” when asked about the Galaxy Note. While this is still certainly just a rumor, it provides hope for all those drooling over the tablet/phone hybrid. It's possible that Samsung released it on AT&T while working on the CDMA for the device to be released on Verizon and Sprint. Verizon and Sprint can gauge how it sells on AT&T before they release it. Maybe this is another of Sprint's LTE devices to be rolled out in 2012.

Then a slight step up is the Epic Touch, but everyone loves the Touch so much, that will be a hot seller until something better comes around. One might even argue that unless you really want the stock android, ICS and LTE that the Galaxy Nexus gives you, the Epic Touch is still a better phone. I had a EVO 3D and upgraded to a Epic Touch and I really didn't notice that much difference aside from the thickness, weight, camera and screen definition.

But it is nearly 2 years old, and even though it has a huge developer following, it will surely be obsolete when quad core phones start coming out. My HTC Hero had big developer support, but it was so slow and laggy by the time I upgraded, it completely stressed me out. I couldn't even use most of the apps and games out there because of the lag. That said, I would still recommend an EVO over a midrange Wimax phone. And for someone wanting a physical keyboard the Epic, but not under any other circumstances. Maybe I am a phone snob, but that is my opinion.
