  1. ok so initial thoughts about this new modem....seems to not ave as strong reception as 0.15. Without moving the phone 0.15 used to lock onto B26 and this modem hops between 3g and LTE
  2. anyone seen b41 in lower st pete? moved down a week ago, i'm on .15 with all bands enabled, but nothing. Loving the band 26 around here though!!
  3. Hey so is this what's happening to me? I used to always have HD Voice when calling my dad (other Nexus 5), then once I integrated then unintegrated google voice I haven't seen it since. I'm hoping it's just a weird coincidence. Both Phones will say EVRC_NW on the engineering screen, tested them in the same room. Quality used to be so amazing, now it's definitely just a regular phone call. Thanks!
  4. I integrated HD Voice and calls using EVRC_NW codec didn't seem as good. I un-integrated just now and tried again, and it still sounds muddy. It's not crystal clear like it was before. Not sure if this is tower related (they just LTE'd the tower right by me) or GVoice issue
  5. hopefully not underwater yet! I'm moving down at the end of may (St. Pete). So how's band 41 and b26 coming along? Doubtful we'll have spark update by then (before Google IO) so how is eCSFB working with .15 and b41/26?? thanks, looking foward to the weather!

    Wifi calling

ok I'm so jealous!! So...any chance of getting this on the Nexus 5?? I think not as T-mobile doesn't have it on their iphones
  7. Dear google...update...your nexus 5...with spark...thanks! Always thought Nexus phones were great because they got the updates the fastest!!!
  8. ok figured it out, awesome. So I can use #4 for sitting on 2G/3G (so it uses 800mhz) and #8 at home where I can see LTE. This way the phone isn't constantly switching between the 800mhz and LTE depending on how far into the concrete dungeon i am haha 0: WCDMA Preferred 1: GSM only <-- This would be "2G" on GSM networks 2: WCDMA only <--WCDMA is "3G" on GSM networks. You may know it as HSPA 3: GSM auto (PRL) 4: CDMA auto (PRL) 5: CDMA only <-- This would be "2G" on CDMA networks 6: EvDo only <-- EvDo is "3G" on CDMA networks 7: GSM/CDMA auto (PRL) 8: LTE/CDMA auto (PRL) 9: LTE/GSM auto (PRL) 10: LTE/GSM/CDMA auto (PRL) 11: LTE only 12: "unknown"
  9. Anyone know how to use tasker to change the network type? I can get it to work with LTE mode, but when i use 2G/3G then it says no service...thanks! from XDA Using GravityBox (and the Xposed framework) you can change mobile network modes. Root is required Change mobile network mode networkType 0 = 2G/3G auto (3G preferred), 1 = 2G, 2 = 3G, 9 (or 10) = LTE Code:Send Intent [ Action: gravitybox.intent.action.CHANGE_NETWORK_TYPE Cat: None Mime Type: Data: Extra: networkType:1 Extra: Package: Class: Target: Broadcast Receiver
  10. apparently the LTE tower is an hour behind...the 3g only tower (no NV) is correct
  11. So I decided to take a nap for an hour, set an alarm for 7pm (it was 530) and woke up and the alarm clock rolled back to 750...it's 850 right now WTH?!
  12. Mine worked fine too, I always worry about the clock and dst Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  13. Anyone know of a way to make a Tasker plugin that would start mapping? So have a tasker profile that "when connected to car bluetooth + connected to AC (car charger"-->Launch Sensorly and start mapping Be easier than having to remember to turn it on all the time... /lazy
  14. are you looking at the sponsor maps, with all the 3g/800 towers in hartford? Are they LTE too? I'd rather have 800 than LTE, but with these new triband phones...it will sit on 800 but keep looking for LTE, Hope they roll out band 26 soon!
  15. Thanks, I left it on scan for a while, but after I installed secure settings and enabled that then it started working Tasker is awesome Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  16. hey guys im running the latest bet for tasker (4.3) and cell near state isn't even an option...anyone know the fix? Thanks
  17. So if you are running digiblurs Prl update... You can't connect to 41?Meaning is the Prl update needed at reboot to connect at all? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  18. Why do we care if site ids are posted? It's not like someone can figure out where your house is, and If sprint told him well then hey awesome news! I'd love band 26 (but in a4th round market that just started getting lte) Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  19. I put digiblurs Prl on my Nexus (what a pain to do) and I've seen a lot of 800,but when it was on stock Prl i rarely saw it. Some day it's bc the radio performance is better so it holds 1900 & doesn't switch to 800 Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  20. Couldn't find any 41...none by Hartford Hospital, and none by Weston st north of Hartford Anyone have any sites I could drive by and check? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  21. 100% that's the issue. All the texts flooded in a few moments after I received the callSeems like there's no fix yet Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  22. Yes! I have that happen all the time. Only really after a call mostly. When I hang up it'll go to no service for a few minutes. Eventually it reconnects, but the phone can't receive or make calls during that time Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  23. Maybe but I've never had an issue before with that site for lte. Very strange. My friend called me Saturday night and was like why aren't you here... Texts came through 35min late Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
