  1. Can anyone identify this tower. I'm thinking its an nTelos tower but now sure. Sent from my EVO 4G LTE using Tapatalk 2 now Free
  2. More results from around Pittsburgh pa. Still very poor. This time I was at Robinson town center and used signal check to see LTE signal strength. Speed results were 1.5mbit down and 2.7 up Sent from my EVO 4G LTE using Tapatalk 2 now Free
  3. he's right, I downgraded and I'm back to the original. Its working fine. Sent from my EVO 4G LTE using Tapatalk 2
  4. Spent day 2 with it and mapped 13k points. My opinion hasn't changed. Not sure what they are thinking with this update. The base maps are horrible. Wonder why they went away from Google maps? The new version definitely seems like a resource hog because there ate a lot of times where I hit a button and nothing happens. Its like the phone is lagging. Very frustrating. Also hate that while mapping the map view is basically useless. It does not refresh as fast as the old version so you are really not getting up to date info. I'd rate this version 1.5 out of 5 stars. The old version I'd give 3.5 or 4 stars. Sent from my EVO 4G LTE using Tapatalk 2
  5. I think the new sensorly update sucks. It is not user friendly. It clutters the home page with that silly sliding window that I can't get rid of. Its not easy to change providers when looking at coverage. Just seems like a big step backwards. Is like to downgrade as well Sent from my EVO 4G LTE using Tapatalk 2
  6. I honestly don't understand the high tech lingo you guys refer to when it comes to certain bands and frequencies. I do know that here in Morgantown WV USCC, Verizon, and ATT all have LTE. Sprint (ntelos) is the only provider that doesn't. Sprint uses nTelos towers here and roam on USCC's towers. I've been told at the nTelos store that LTE is being deployed here in 4th quarter but ntelos has lied before. I'd love to see the 4g light up on my phone here. If USCC is indeed the roaming partner when do you expect this to happen? Sent from my EVO 4G LTE using Tapatalk 2
  7. Didn't realize that. I can tell you I was at Kennywood Park and a cell tower across the street was super stacked. Probably the most loaded cell tower I've ever seen. I assumed it was Sprint LTE based on the signal strength I was seeing. I guess maybe it wasn't. Is there any way I can see 4g strength ? Sent from my EVO 4G LTE using Tapatalk 2
  8. I was in Pittsburgh yesterday near Duquesne and had full bar 4g signal all day long. Ran several speed tests with abysmal results. Best I could manage was 1.2mb down and 1.8mb up. Sent from my EVO 4G LTE using Tapatalk 2
  9. I live in Morgantown WV which is nTelos territory for sprint service. I've been a sprint customer for about 8 years. Been hoping for LTE HERE soon but since its nTelos based I'm thinking it may still be a long time in coming. I'm under contract through June 2014. I stopped in the local ntelos dealer and asked about LTE. He said it would be here by the end of the year. Their reps have never been known for their accuracy. Sprint/nTelos is the only provider left in Morgantown that has not upgraded to LTE. Verizon, ATT, and US Cellular all have 4G LTE here. Sent from my EVO 4G LTE using Tapatalk 2
