I also have MeanRom. Where do you see this setting? I cant keep my weak LTE signal. How do you do it?

It is alright. We are early adopters. We are all beta testers for Sprint. They should give us free service. Just like Dish have to pay me to watch TV or I dont watch any of it.. :-) Just be patient.

I see. So Sprint and HTC OTA update, I will wait until the Dev add it to their built.

Does Sprint OTA mess up your cook rom?

Good info Robert. This is what I am experiencing on good signal and verge signal which connect in and out of LTE and 3D which makes my surfing so unbearable. This is early adopter for sure. I didnt expect to be in this mess. I dont advice anybody getting a LTE phone right now unless you like this.

If Sprint jack their price to within $10 of anybody, I might do SIM card. Always like that idea when I go overseas I can use it. My brother who live in Houston said Sprint coverage is bad. So the chance of 24 mbps down inside a building at the ATL airport is slim for Sprint. I guess there is nobody who is the best and it depends on where you live.

I see. So you believe in you get what you pay for? But my thing is that the next competitor is like $30 more And my friend is so stingy. He said he dont want to run too many speed test cause of cap. But just give me 2 mbp upload and download speed and I am happy so I can video skype. Sorry alot to think about.

I have no problem with LTE at my house. Constant 4G/LTE in and out. At the ATL airport, its a different story. I can understand the frustration. As I said before, Sprint should say something in Astricks that 'LTE no available in all area and full implentation by end of the year', etc etc Everybody expectation is set too high. My friend got Verizon and we are inslde the building and he got 24 mbps download and 12 mbps upload. I am waiting for that day Sprint! Please come soon!

Battery life was help with the big capacity it has on the LTE phone. It has help alot! Why does 1x or on roaming drain the battery so quickly?

I just dont understand how all these signal thing work. I got LTE connection at my house. Rock solid. 4/5 bar. Never drop. I am in upper Jonesboro. I had been driving and watching my LTE signal on my phone as I am driving. I was driving and pulling into the ATL parking lot. Still got LTE signal. Walk into office and LTE is gone. Walk back out onto the parking lot, see LTE on the verge. 2/5 bar. Make a Skype video call. Snap. Signal too weak for video. It went back to 3G. Trying toggling back n forth, can never get LTE. Trying putting the phone next to the window? That is funny.

There is no good coverage inside the building at the ATL airport. I was getting 1/4 bar on 4G when I had it on my 3D. There is LTE on I-75 south. But who is using it? Driving and surfing and texting?

Goodness. I finally done my HTCDev thing as I cant wait for LazyPanda. Before was stock and now in cook rom and I still get 4G.

When you pass by Manvel, you see any LTE?

I remember my experience with my 3D phone on 4G. If it is off, tap it with an icon and it would say "connecting ..." and if it doesnt find it, then it would say "disconnected". 1. How come no icon button to turn LTE on or off? 2. If there is LTE, it would just come on automatically in 1 sec? Polling or push?

I have 1/4 bar on 4G with my 3D inside my house. Now I am getting 4/5 bar on HTC LTE on LTE inside the house. Its different phone though.

I think Sprint did not say clearly that they are launching in those market, but it did not say how many % completed in those city. Sprint should also warn customers that if you cant get LTE speed, it will be 3G and not 4G on this type of device.

Drive to lower Tara Blvd and to the city of Jonesboro, GA and Southlake Mall ... no LTE Only on upper part of Tara Blvd near Hooters do you get LTE.

Do you mean they are still working on deploying LTE in Atlanta? Well, count my luck that I got it at my house. Tomorrow going to buy a lottery ticket.

I notice I get 4G on my Evo 3D on certain area of my 4.5 running trail that I do everyday. Now I dont get LTE until I get back to my house. I just wonder if Sprint turn on all the LTE or not?

If you can get 4g before, then should be able to get LTE. That was for my case.

Are you using Open Signal Map app? Yah, how do u know this much? Has anyone try the LTE at the ATL airport yet? I will find out on Monday.

Do not take any OTA update.Check with your cook rom DEV guy. But I rather have LTE than 3g speed. I only have my phone rooted but still on stock rom. I have not do the HTCDev thing. In 7 months, there will be another new phone out.
