    I am getting good 13 mbps down speed now after I did a reboot of my phone few days ago and my LTE seems to stay constant the whole day when I am at home. Can we all get along and keep it that way?

    Everytime I reboot my phone, I can get LTE connection and I can do speed test and get good 6-7 mpbs down. After a few days when I dont reboot my phone, my LTE signal goes in and out and it really get to LTE and when I do the Speed Test, It would just hang and time out using the Speed Test app. Do you know what is going on here? Do you have this same experience as me?

    I was sooooo excited on July 15 when they turn on LTE. I was able to get LTE for many days. Now I dont get LTE to hang on anymore. I mean I am literally within a few feet of the tower and I dont get anything. Even rebooting my phone does no good. There is a like 3% completion for 1 month now at 22% right? It will never get to 100% by Dec at this rate. Frustration aside, what is going on? It seems like it has gone from bad to worst. Did something change?

    Since July 15, I see a 2% increase to 22% from 20%. Oh boy, they better be super fast. December at 100% complete? Are they on schedule? Do you still believe?

    How is this different than the HTC Evo 4G LTE? I just just just wish it has the SIM card to make it a world phone and its not.

    Listen, have you all given up hope on trying to get your phone to 4G indicator? I have given up. Sometime I get it and sometime I dont. So unless my cable modem breaks down, I dont bother. Even with my 4G indicator comes on, it still does not work. I just dont know what is going on. I shall just let it be. How about you?

    I work at the airport. I use to get 4G with 1/5 bar on my 3D. My 3G always go in and out making any data connection unbearable. I am suspecting the LTE signal is coming from one of those tower near I-75 and there are no LTE tower at the Atlanta airport yet.

    It has been a mystery to me too. I see 4G and when I try to do Speedtest app on it and do surfing, it hangs. I didnt want to rebooot my phone or do any toggle. I just dont know what is going on.

    I find it hard to believe that LTE will blanket everything. You mean there is no such thing as inside the building or outside the building LTE coverage? Isnt this misleading map coverage will get somebody angry/mad later?

    I am further away from this tower. I see 4G at 3 or 4 bar. Now I get good test speed. Tomorrow I am going to be at that tower again about 4 blocks away and test it and I am also going to check out that Southlake mall tower when I go running.

    From what I understand I cannot flash Radio update unless I have S-off right? SO what do I do then?

    themuffinman, I was like 5 blocks from the Sprint tower behind the hooter restaurant ... I see 5 out of 5 bars constantly and on LTE. I did speedtest app on it. It was very very eratic. The meter pause alot. I could not get any good and complete speed test. It just hangs. I try to do 4 tests and all failed. I just wonder what is going on.

    Is this a radio update or firmware update? I cant do radio update on my phone as it has been hacked. I hope not.

    In other words, Sprint wanted the PR benefit of announcing a fifteen market launch without waiting until those markets were more saturated with signal .. We kinda have it, but you might not get LTE in your aread ... We kinda have it, but ... Kinda .. bad PR

    Sorry I should not single out the HTC LTE phone, but just any LTE phone. In term of importance(not impotence ), which is better for you (choose one): * Bigger screen * Better battery life * Thinner phone * Better speed (on 3G vs 4G and LTE is only for lucky few as of now) I choose better speed. For those that dont see LTE deployment until next year, this model of HTC LTE and S3 phone now will be an after life as another newer LTE phone will be out.

    Do you all think this LTE phone is a waste? Most of us cant get to use the LTE speed until the end of the year. And then there are more cities that doesnt have LTE until next year. OK, think of the last update of 3D phone to LTE phone. That is like 7 months. So in another 7 months, there will be another HTC phone coming out. Unless you measure the success of this LTE phone by 3G and Wifi speed. You know what I mean?

    Netmonitor and Open Source Map are not accurate at all. Both point to a tower to someone house and if it is, the tower is below all the trees.

    I see. There are cook rom out there that will unclock or go to single core when idle. That might help with the battery drain. The big help I got is the bigger battery. Do you mean the Save Power mode? It is off.

    I got good LTE signal at home. A few times when I come home, I dont get LTE signal until I toggle the airplane mode on and off. Why is that? Is there some more tweak that Sprint have to do on the tower and maybe a update on the phone?

    I have used Open Signal Map. I try the other one too. They are all hog wash! I went there to look, there are no towers there! I just use Sprint map on their website. Just click on 4G (not LTE) and look at the yellow circle around it and in the middle is the tower.

    Even when you are under the tower? What cook ROM do you have? Do you ever want to do a factory reset n c? Is there something wrong with your phone perhaps?

    Nice. I suspect that was the tower from looking at the Sprint website and this is where I get my signal also at my house. I just hope they didnt mess anything up.

    I read in another forum that when Verzion and ATT did their LTE, it wasnt smooth sailing too. Is that true?

    I been getting good LTE at home. Last night and today, it keep falling back to 3G. I dont know what is going on.

    How are you going to know what update is out there? You really using the Commodore 64?
