Thanks, never used google docs for a spread sheet before, didn't know that those were tabs up top, use to xcel with the tabs at the bottom. I also don't know what to tell you, its been a few days since I changed the PRL on my wifes Note 3 and it hasn't dropped a call. Prior it was dropping just about every call and that was even after 4.4.2 was installed. I'm don't know enough to pull the PRL apart and understand it, but I do know that the phone has been working, I can switch it back to 55017 when my wife gets home and see if it drops calls again...

unknown issue? My thought is they just don't want to pay to fix the hardware. The potential cost of a lawsuit it cheaper than actually fixing the problem... that is how decisions are made

The phone supposedly only drops calls when 800mhz comes into play, I've heard that the phone can't handle HD voice on 800 and that the signal bounces back and forth between 800 and 1900 until the radio can't handle it and forces the drop. If you can take 800 mhz out of play by eliminating it or editing priorities than I could see how that would fix the issue... but then again I'm assuming and could be wildly wrong, but the phone is not dropping calls like it was immediately prior to the PRL change.

I've read that PRL 51098 fixes the Note 3 dropped call issue, whats different about this over the 55017... and is 52098 the corporate version?

My wifes battery will last days without charging,,, but you can pretty much guarantee it will talk 3+ calls to complete a conversation because the phone drops just about every call

Yes it is, no backhaul for you. The tower closest to my house has had 800 mhz forever now and still no LTE its setup for microwave... Sprint needs to run the backhaul through my yard and I'll take a fiber line to my house while they're at it.

I should start taking offers on a used Galaxy S4 and Note 3... anybody have a brick wall I can borrow? My wife drove an hour to the Kalamazoo Corporate store, they had a number of people in the store with note 3 issues. Supposedly calling from a google voice number eliminates the dropped calls. How do we get media attention on this?

Well I've been talking to sprint dozen's phone doesn't work, repairs center refuses to run a diagnostic on it, CS manager offered to downgrade the phone for a minimal fee not to mention not addressing abysmal service of 100's of dropped calls. Some "escalated" manager is suppose to give me a call within 24 hours however I haven't had any luck with Sprints CS managers calling back when they say they will.... Probably not the place and I apologize for that but I'm fed up and about ready to end service and stop payment on anything I can.

Well it seems like the activation system got bogged down and the phone didn't get activated properly.

Three posts in a row, well finally Sprint Technical Support reactivated the phone and its working as of right now... Sprints system was initially down when we activated the phone and the tech said that might have to some impact. we'll report back. ... Further insight from this may be to not buy a phone the day sprint launches any new popular phone.

Well, I guess right now I'm just going to play how many dropped calls to sprint customer care before we find a resolution... right now we're at 3! Sorry Brenda, Shannon... darn, I'm losing track already

Sprint should be doing fiber through google... across their network... or at least SW Mich,,. because who doesn't need a gig of bandwidth to their home for under $100 a month? I'm sure sprint would pay more but I don't think Google is in the interest of BFing people over internet prices like everyone else...
