for the towers around ABQ, many are already upgraded and waiting on backhaul. If they turned on LTE now, Downtown, Uptown, Nob Hill and most of the Heights would have a pretty decent blanket of LTE. That being said, it is NOT sprint or contractors. It is all Centurylink. They have not provided the backhaul Sprint needs for the LTE. Go look at most of the Verizon LTE towers and most have microwave backhaul. I think they ran into the same thing and said F it and started putting up microwave. Also, ATT has a very limited LTE coverage in ABQ. I assume it is due to the same issues.

I seem to want to agree with you. However, most of the sites i have been too in abq have no sign of backhaul at all. This was all within the last three or four weeks that I have been visiting. I do hope this changes.

I have seen an extra ordinary amount of Centurylink trucks in ABQ lately. It has gotten my hopes up. I am praying for a Christmas miracle for at least a couple towers turned on.

I used to live in Springfield and had the worst reception. That was like 6 years ago when I left. However, I think SW Missouri will benefit the most from 800LTE. I have a feeling that Ericsson will turn that on very quickly into 2014. I assume speeds are still pretty good since LTE was turned on in Joplin. Coverage will be the biggest boost.

Ok the last acceptance was on 9/25. I am sure that movement in the market has halted, especially abq. I am getting very disappointed and frustrated.

I a slightly skepitcal due to the ping. Due to the shutdown, many operations at forest service have been slimmed. I assume the same for DOI. It might be that towers are not loaded in the journal center area.

I have had Ios7 on my iPhone 5 now for three months and I will say it is all of the new things in Ios7 that make it drain faster. I turned off the motion backgrounds and background app refresh and as of right now i feel that it is the same as ios6. I will say that the 5s has a larger batttery than the 5 so doing what i did might extend life even further.

Looking at the Sponsor map, my guess would be to say no it will not be Sprint. From Tower and 86th, there is a Sprint tower about a half mile to the NW. That being said, it looks like that portion of town is a little light on towers compared to just north of I40. That being said, it would help to see the antennas and/or base stations. Edit: I haven't see any movement at all the towers that are either 3G accepted or In progress in regards to backhaul put in. It is quite depressing.
