  1. It is staggering and very disconcerting, especially from the TriBand wunderphone. I assume/hope that they just don't have all the data in for the phone yet, but it's still weird since it deviates from *no* phone being chosen.
  2. When viewing data coverage on Sprint's maps, I noticed that areas marked with the light purple for 'off network roaming' when I have chosen the Note 3 (or no device, or most devices) as my device disappear to white 'no coverage' when viewed for the G2. Can anyone explain this?
  3. Bear with me a few seconds, because of course I know triband LTE matters, but I wonder how much it matters for me here and now. Generally, in the rurals right now. Specifically, "here" being in SW Missouri, in the Neosho/Joplin area out in the rurals. Is all of the LTE deployed and working here right now 1900? Are we likely to have any of the other bands here in the next year or two? Are they lighting all 3 bands on all towers eventually, or is 800 and/or 2500 being reserved for metro deployments? Thoughts?
  4. Hah, I opened this thread just because I wondered how close to Cookeville you were! Lived there for a small section of my life growing up, but it was a good section. Shout out to you from SW Missouri.
  5. I was! I want hate and bile! Though mainly I want Sprint LTE..
  6. You mean other than not being Pentile (which is significant) and being brighter?
  7. Prefer it in every way? Why? You hate the superior screen on the EVO LTE?
  8. And you entirely missed the point.
  9. I couldn't suffer through this whole post, but I just wanted to respond to this bit here. I for one actually preferred Windows Mobile crap phones over the iPhone until Android was on the scene. Winmo sucked, but at least you could multitask and be in control. To this day, when I have to use an iPhone for a few minutes for some reason, I am reminded how infuriating they are. That is all.
  10. This thread makes me sad. I can't help but hope that you're all too young to be familiar with very much of Microsoft's history, or you just weren't paying attention to the past 20 years...
  11. I don't think there is any doubt that WiMax was a good decision, as it wasn't so much a decision as something they had to do to maintain spectrum holdings. What I can't understand is why Sprint ever let Clear manage themselves. With 51% ownership and ever-increasing evidence of ineptitude, wouldn't you eventually step in and take over?
  12. Curiously no Missouri towns in your list. Joplin, MO has what I believe is a protection site, but it's been a long time since I've tested it. I'm pretty sure I did test it after the tornado though. I don't have any speed reports.
