  1. Eaton is broadcasting 4G, I just ran over there at lunch and painted some purple. Shout out to "el1117" for the heads up........getting closer.....
  2. I believe am halfway to becoming a "Premier Sponsor" - but the closest towers to me in New Paris have new cabinets and that is it. Is there a time frame in Premier that is accurate?
  3. Just found this topic...I called Sprint last night because I have crap data and crap calls at my house. They are sending a techician to the towers to check them out. My question is....I have internet with a local WISP and only have 1.5 down/750 up. Pings are in the 70's. Would the Airwave work on this?
  4. I can confirm that a tower which is north of New Paris, OH is putting out 800 to the south of the tower. Could not pick it up to the north.
  5. Sprint tower which is located in Richmond, IN south of I-70... the north side of Richmond. It has new cabinets, and new antennas on top of the tower. Appears that the cables are all still going to the old cabinets. For some reason there are cat 5 cables going to the old cabinet that are just laying on top of the ground. 6. Thanks....will do Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  7. Here are pics of the progress on the tower off I-70 by Richmond, IN on the state line. New Samsung cabinets installed and wires hanging from the top of the tower....hopefully I will catch someone working on it and see if they can provide info on a time frame and other towers in the area. Getting closer......anyone know at what point does a site show "In Progress" on the maps? Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  8. I am over here in Richmond, IN and went to a business meeting at lunch and had no data. I called Sprint and they said the tower was down and gave me a $10 credit ... Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  9. I do......watching for Dayton and Cincinnati....hopefully they will swing back to Richmond and get these towers done!
  10. I took a drive over to New Castle at lunch and ran these speed test as I was going down 70....
  11. Now Verizon is wanting to lease spectrum from Clearwire.....this is getting messy.... http://www.engadget.com/2013/04/15/verizon-in-talks-to-lease-clearwire-spectrum-for-1-5-billion/#comments Tug of war for Clearwire... http://i.imgur.com/R1ksyBh.jpg
  12. I was just thinking the same thing! I remember this from a while back http://www.ecommercetimes.com/story/75074.html
  13. This is great for my Sprint stock, but I was really looking forward to Softbank completing the merger and shaking up the US market with low prices and unlimited data. If Dish succeeds, there will not be any shakeup in the industry...... The SoftBank deal is a CASH infusion to help Sprint pay down debt and increase services....The Dish deal would use all the cash on the balance sheet and add more debt to the already in debt Sprint.
  14. It's not much....but at least it is Ohio!
  15. From what I have seen in other markets and have read, I would say your source is mis-informed.
  16. This would be very interesting to my Sprint stock and would accelerate NV buildout even more! http://news.investors.com/technology/030513-646769-softbank-seen-launching-4g-mvno-strategy.htm?ven=rss&utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed:%20InternetTechnologyRss%20(Technology%20RSS)

  18. newboyx - Appreciate the post and following the progression....I am watching my local towers in Richmond for any activity.
  19. Maybe Dish is wanting in on the action and just by creating this headache can create on offer of sorts to utilize their new spectrum approval to create a Clearwire/Softbank/Dish agreement...
  20. I plotted all of the cities in the list....unfortunately....nothing near me! You can see the map on this link. http://batchgeo.com/map/282ad4516ada08a204f26e69cf9e96d0
