  1. Joshuam is wearing pink under his faded yellow shirt. He has an iPhone 4s and wonders why the network hasn't improved.
  2. These plans have Dan written all over them. I recall reading about this plan and the $50 unlimited talk/text/data. Anyone know what other plans were being trialed?
  3. Iliad would be good for competition. I don't see them winning a bidding war with Masa though.
  4. What the.... Been reading the articles and people are saying good things about Sprint. Not just the articles but the comments as well.
  5. Not sure if Masa would appreciate the word "nuke" but this may just be one that is overdue.
  6. Looks like they want it to be Tmobile and not Sprint http://www.marketnewscall.com/big-news-sprint-corporation-nyses-apple-inc-nasdaqaapl/1225951/
  7. I see that as well especially after they post positive subscriber growth for more than one quarter or even sooner if the TMUS deal is officially announced.
  8. Any idea what happened? I was going to sell at 9 a few days ago, then it shot up to 9.15 this morning. I'm holding for now.
  9. As a shareholder and as a customer I applaud this move. For the last few years some sites have been over loaded that any attempt to even load the google home page would fail. Now data works and people are afraid of a little throttling?
  10. Guess who just popped up again? Mr. Ergen... I heard someone talking about this but I could not locate a single article until I came across this.... http://www.theflyonthewall.com/permalinks/entry.php/DISH;TMUS;Sid2008187/DISH;TMUS;S-DISHs-Ergen-says-company-would-be-interested-in-TMobile-if-Sprint-doesnt-buy

  12. i posted on the general investing thread: http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2014-04-30/sprint-said-to-plan-t-mobile-bid-after-pushing-banks-for-funding.html
  13. what just happened? S is up almost 7% after-hours? edit: never mind i found my answer: http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2014-04-30/sprint-said-to-plan-t-mobile-bid-after-pushing-banks-for-funding.html getting close :-)
  14. I recall reading that Dan said mid 2014 would be Sprints time to shine. Not sure if he pushed that timeframe back on this call but if thats not the case it wont be long.
  15. Not sure but I just picked up an additional 900 shares.
  16. Japan roaming is unlimited talk, text, sms. I used it on our corporate account and it was only $5.
  17. Tested this out and I had a poor LTE signal with the device. The LED on the router showed one bar of LTE. I performed a speed test on it and it hovered around 2 Mbps while on my phone it averaged around 4-5 Mbps. Tested my roku on it and it had a lot of connection issues more so than what I get with my 3G Overdrive (wimax never made it to the towers around me).
  18. tested it out on a friends Mega and it worked perfectly.
  19. Are you serious? I was being sarcastic. Although there are VZ and AT&T users that think that way. Just go to engadget and read the comments of anything wireless related.
  20. I don't see Apple laying out infrastructure. They may just be on board to test it on their devices avoiding another antennagate. Loved what he said about VZ and AT&T: I wonder if there were any AT&T or VZ users watching this video that said "ok now this is BS I pay top dollar and get service everywhere!"
  21. I dont find it pointless. It will benefit a lot of people myself included. Let's just be glad that we have the option now. Is it safe to assume that Masa had this implemented? It seems like pre-Masa Sprint execs wanted to push the femtocells and had no intentions of rolling out Wi-Fi calling.
