  1. Wait, why would you blame T-Mobile and not Samsung? And if you're talking about the same Motorola fiasco I'm thinking of, the issue with 700MHz there was that 700MHz VoLTE hadn't been tested and certified for E911 on that handset.
  2. Sprint "branded" - https://swappa.com/buy/devices/sprint?type=phone&platform=ios Unlocked - https://swappa.com/buy/devices/unlocked?type=phone&platform=ios
  3. Meanwhile, I still have 3 lines of unlimited with 2 S8 easy pay (or whatever they call it at TMO) with the One Plus promo attached for $125/month. 2 +1 free 20% Hookup discount Nobody can really touch that right now, and where I live, work, and play T-Mobile works as well as Sprint and better than Verizon.
  4. A lot of people wanting it on the Internet is a lot different from anyone at T-Mobile or DT discussing it. Until there's even a rumor of a discussion, it's just idle fantasy.
  5. I believe the bigger barrier is the Canadian big 3 lobby, Bell especially. There was a bit of a hullabaloo a few years ago when Verizon considered bidding for Mobilicity and some Canadian frequencies. http://www.bell.ca/an-open-letter-to-all-canadians https://www.theglobeandmail.com/report-on-business/verizons-canadian-dalliance-deeper-than-admitted/article14427259/ http://www.investors.com/news/technology/att-verizon-auction-spending-rule-out-canada-expansion/
  6. Lots of individual apps have back buttons or gestures, but usually they're in the top left corner of the phone. With the Plus models of iPhones it's a tough reach, and you have to resort to double tapping the home button to reach or using 2 hands. It's the permanent back button--software, capacitive, or clicky-- that irks me.
  7. It can redirect without overwriting. Both URLs would just point to the same place.
  8. It's a concern because I have an iPhone for work, and it's my #1 problem with the platform. There are other features on Android that I like that makes me prefer it for my personal phone, and when I'm up for upgrade at work in a couple of months I'll be picking the Pixel or a Note 8 (if the Note 8 is offered).
  9. But there's no back button... If it wasn't for that I'd agree with you (but I'd still prefer Android even if iOS had a back button).
  10. Would t4gru.com redirect here?
  11. So you'll leave T-Mobile for not supporting one of their services on your device for a network that doesn't offer the service at all? I mean, it's your money, but it sounds like cutting off your nose to spite your face.
  12. I don't think it really matters, it's just nice that they actually raised it. I'd be much happier if they'd up the kickback threshold since the wifi at my work is garbage.
  13. Nobody thinks you're vicious, you just can't make a point in a reasonable amount of words, or stay on topic. I like reading some of your ideas, but I have to say I groan when I see your name because I have to wonder if I'm going to spend 10 seconds or 5 minutes reading. Most of the time I scroll past, and I'm sure miss out on good content.
  14. I'm not a businessman. I'm an engineer. And my engineer mind says that instead of a merger Softbank could buy a large stake in T-Mobile and the two companies (Sprint and T-Mobile) enter into a spectrum and tower sharing deal. Both companies benefit from expanded spectrum and tower availability, and both companies remain responsible for their own debts and operations. Most Sprint phones already support T-Mobile's bands, and unlocked phones that support all of both companies' bands already exist. Sprint and T-Mobile are both strong in my area. I switched to T-Mobile a while back for the 2 for $100 + 3rd line free and then 20% off from the hookup code, but I'm still a Sprint fanboy.
  15. It has B41 HPUE if that's what you're asking. Sent from my Z981 using Tapatalk
  16. I actually played with one in Best Buy yesterday, and it's a pretty easy reach. I didn't accidentally hit the camera or anything. I even found my finger resting very near the scanner when I wasn't trying to reach it.
  17. Couldn't it also be that there's a DAS in the building, and without that he wouldn't get ANY coverage at all?
