I was on U Street last night for the election.. and LTE lit up on my iPhone 5 for the first time last night.. Not sure if it was in testing or if its officially released, but I never dropped connection in that area last night.
Edit: Speed Test from U & 14th NW http://www.picturesh...5ucaxgjnrqg.png
Which isn't that far away from that newly complete 3G/4G/800 cell tower sitting at Dupont Circle.

The tower on I81 at exit 302 on the Liberty sign is now active

EDIT: Looks like someone mapped in Wardensville, WV and Berryville, VA in the past few days.
That would be me. Was supposed to go to Harrisonburg of Friday but ended up going to Hagerstown. Caught me by surprise when I saw the 4G indicator lite up coming down Mt. Weather and in Berryville.

Ahh ok, just now noticed your post about that, missed it somehow when I was catching up after work.
no problem

I notice there's a nice new stretch of LTE along I-81 on the north side of Harrisonburg, VA mapped on Sensorly, though it drops off before the pocket I hit a week and a half ago.(stretches up till roughly about MM252).
Yeah that was my doing.

Just added another 249 points of 4g data in the Harrisonburg area for Shentel along I81 using Sensorly.

Correction, looks like my work schedule has changed and I will be doing Harrisonburg Thursday and Friday.

I will be going from Dulles to Harrisonburg on Friday running Sensorly the whole trip to see what I pick up. By way of 28 to 66 to 81. Picking up from the station off of Pleasant Valley with a stop at Walker.

It seems a friend of mine who lives in Stephen city is experience of Sprints/Shentel LTE love. He posted on Facebook a speedtest of 22mb dl.

I have been a Sprint customer since December of 1996 when they were Sprint Spectrum. Have I considered going to another carrier because they were getting phones that Sprint were not getting, thought about it for maybe 5 minutes and tossed it away. Have I had problems over the years that I had to call in, I can count that on 1 hand. Have had data slowdowns, yeah to be expected in a major city, I am just outside DC. Am I looking forward to Network Vision completion? yes but tempering anticipation with patience. I have seen some substitute there cellular data as there home internet and it usually backfires especially if you have AT&T/VZW with tiered data.

If you only have a Evo LTE to use then you will think the LTE works just fine.
Compare it to another phone and you will see the issues.

Have you noticed you posted the same thing 3 times in 2 minutes?

What I found that helped me out was when I was in a LTE area north of Laurel, Md last week. I updated my profile while on LTE in which now when I go thru a LTE area, I have no problems with the phone finding and getting on 4G.

No, but I've played an online mmorpg with over 200 players in a single area fine. 25mb/hr was about the average use.
there is a big difference between a rpg game and a fps game

Actually, data for online games only use around 25mb an hour, so it doesn't cause much harm. However, you'll need decent latency to have a good time.
I guess you haven't been on BF3 with a server hosting up to 64 players, and shooting, and driving flying, and blowing things up. 25mb is gone in 10 minutes.

Being 1st to the party doesn't mean anything but being a beta tester.
By the way, Asus only makes GSM phone equipment so Verizon and Sprint are out of the loop.

All I need at 2mb down & 1 up... I just want to tether & play battlefield 3. I'm glad it's begun tho... I thought ehrpd meant super speed compared to evdo
I hate to be a downer, but there is no way you are gonna be playing BF3 with a LTE connection and survive. Especially against someone like me. "WebsterRC"
