South of Harrisonburg along I81 and running east to Lynchburg and Charlottesville isn't Sprint, it is NTelos. Sprint does have the I95 corridor but the western part of Virginia is it's partners with the exception of Bristol and you can guess why that is.

Something to ponder.

Got 6mb down 1.8mb up over here at the Texas roadhouse off of Buckeystown here in Frederick, right now waiting at Thermo Fisher, getting my load off of Executive way.

Yeah, having a mismatch SWR of greater than 2:1 can reduce your transmit power substantially.

Doesn't T-Mobile's family planed throttle you down after 5gb?

Thoughts on this? I don't think they deserved it. They aren't a technology company to me. Technology companies are companies like Google, Apple, Intel, and Qualcomm who are actively innovating and pushing the envelope. T-Mobile does not innovate, they only make use what technology companies have created.
Talking about CNNMoney, if it was Fox Business, than I be concerned, but we are talking CNN here, only one worse is MSNBC.

I picked up the Go Phone version of this phone the other week in case one of my kids breaks their phone. Paid $39.99 for it. Not a bad phone. It's only 512 RAM so you get some "resuming" and "loading". No double tap to wake or ambient light sensor but that's not the end of the world. Music player is still horrible despite a dozen updates. IE still needs work too. It crashes too easy. To be fair I'm running the Preview for Developer software.
The DP is the cause of the crashes, I am running stock 8.1 and the music player works great.

The phones are now up on boost and virgin, spark enabled and all for $99

Yes the screen is sensitive, not use to a bezzle less phone, takes a little getting use to, voice sounds good thru the display but loudspeaker on back is a different story, this phone has no problem keeping lte signals I have seen, keeps it longer than other phones I have had which is the EVO 4G LTE, GS3, Note 2, and currently with Ativ S Neo.

Don't forget, T-Mobile doesn't support BlackBerry, they burned that bridge, so only way for T-Mobile customers to have a BlackBerry is to have a unlocked version which means no Wi-Fi calling, no special lte bands. Look at it this way, Sprint is starting to get Lumia's and there is still a good portion of Sprints customers that need BlackBerry for work related stuff, don't count it out yet.

It is no longer being offered on Sprint period, along with the Ativ S Neo, but Sprint did update them to both 8.1. Unlike Verizon which has been sitting on the update for like 5 months

I find it ironic, people complain how unlimited data is to much so they go to tiered plans and than they start hearing about this rollover data crap and then start complaining again when they know they still have a unlimited option. Can you just make up your mind already.

It is the Aquos Crystals engineering screen. Something every one has, just that everyone can't do like sharp did it.Any chance we could get an 'overlay' mode, something like apparently the aquos crystal has?
even if it requires root, that would be a pretty killer feature.
-
So basically you are eager to be a micro cell for T-Mobile, in which you pay for the broadband to run that on also while paying T-Mobile for your service to, sounds good to me.

Picked up the Crystal last night and as I went into the engineering screen, discovered that you can have it overplayed on your main screen while doing your usual activities with your phone. Me I found B26, B41 in the Herndon/Reston area.

I picked up a Sharp Aquos Crystal last night and discovering I have band 41 in Herndon and around the Dulles airport at work. With this phone, I can actually overlay the engineering screen as I work the phone normally.

With my phone and Roberts WP8 device, we don't even need our phones in sight to get a text to read it, they get read to us and we respond by voice, all done with out a touch of a button. Other than the radio-techs who work for the county and state radio shops, show me a police officer that is trained to run a spectrum analyzer in his cruiser. Who would have to be sitting still to do it at the time and it still won't tell him what vehicle it was in at the time the text happen out of possibly hundreds of cars passing by the location he is at.
Heck even the FCC still needs to do triangulation looking for illegal transmitters.

I have a Merrill Edge account so I just use the webpage or there app, depending on what device I'm on at the time. Right now on a HP Stream 7 hooked thru my phones hot spot.
-
Point is TMobile isn't fully unlimited anymore, they have said so themselves.
-
I have 20gb on my Sprint family share plan in which Sprint doubled it to 40gb all for $100 a month which includes my phones hotspot and only $15 access per phone, $10 per tablet, less my 23% off the $100 which brings me down to $117 per month.

And here is the funny part to what you just posted. The 4G data is unlimited up to 10gb than they slam you down to 2G. That is going to bite them in the ads when the FTC sees that.

Now getting the win phone 8.1 update for Sprint OTA

Including what use to be known as Sprint Spectrum. So you could say part of TMobiles network was partly due to a Sprint Launch into wireless back in 1995.
