The problem with Frederick county Maryland is the city of Frederick within it. While the county is conservative, the city is part of the liberal progressive side that plagues mostly the eastern side of Maryland and so does it's rule making processes. The city sits right smack dead in the nexus of the county were I70@I270 being the major population center of the county with the rest of the county being rural. It is I that said the city held things up being that they finally issued the permits back in late March for the build out to happen, and I still stand by it.

Believe it or not, still have my AOR AR5000 that I've had since 1996, and that thing still works like a beast. One of the best receivers I ever picked up.

Going from 56ms to 34ms in latency doesn't translate that much into a speed boost, now going from say for example 250ms or more down to 34ms, now that would be a boost. A ping 100ms or less is a good ping because basically you are talking a tenth of a second or less. That goes for any data especially for online gaming.

Hey dnicekid, DT has a 20 percent stake in it, not TMobile, and there would be Free roaming between Softbank and DT so that means basically free use in Europe, Japan, and the US

No, same market, 2 different areas. What I was showing was DC has improved in thruput, and what I said about Frederick is that it is getting better with the 3G thruput improving. They are still building out in Frederick despite the delays of the City of Frederick.

Has anyone seen this yet. It was last week posted on PCMag and they want to use Sensorly users this time for speedtest on the various networks.
