Also when you use the hello SMS MMS service you receive a link to the picture not the picture itself.

Hello only uploads when you use their MMS service.
See the send pictures over data in the pic
The hello cam is the same way.

Edit....Oh damn if I kill the app then open it back up it reboots the phone again when I start it up again. So close...It kills right at the point it says "now updating"

That did it. Also I was able to go into the app and turn off the alert that I think was killing the app.Go into settings, and into apps. Click on SCP and uncheck disable notifications. Problem fixed. I've tried other apps with stuff in the notification bar and they work. Do note the system shortcuts like debug screen may not work. Notification bar is causing issues .

Yea but soon as I start the app it reboots. No way I can get in the app and turn off the Notifications.Thanks.. that logcat and messages I've received from others points to an issue with notifications. This could be the alerts and/or the status bar icons. If you can get all that disabled, the app may work for you.

Well I'll tell you this the bug is with hangouts. But I tried hello SMS and it works perfect except it compresses the hell out of your photos.I flashed 4.4.4 again because I wasn't ready for some of the bugs otherwise I would have confirmed this or not. Just thought I'd share for those of us who experienced the issue in the hopes if could remedy it.

I use intergration with my Google Voice number. You have the choice to use your sprint number or your google voice number when you set it up. I use my google voice number because i switch carriers a bit.

The question is, how is Dkoellerwx getting it normally....?
yea he must be special...lol

My god thanks. Like some noobies around here...[emoji14]No, he's right. When an MMS is sent to your google voice number, you receive a gmail email with the MMS attached.

No when I send a MMS it goes out sends thru Sprint. If you were to send me a pic to my phone number, my google voice number it will come to my gmail.
. Been a google voice user since grand central.
-
When people send MMS to my google voice number they come to my gmail.
-
Yea...Ok. What I'm saying I sent one out OK. I don't receive them the normal way. When someone sends me a MMS to my google voice number because that's the only number I use it comes to my gmail.
But I was able to send one...
-
I was on WiFi but I sent. I'm google voice integrated so I don't get MMS the normal way. They come to my gmail.
-
Beware if you try to use signal check you may get reboots
