I've flashed my G3 with an AOSP ROM.

Guess I'll have to flash back to the stock ROM for PRL & Profile updates.

 

Are there dialer codes for AOSP which will allow me to disable/enable certain LTE bands for testing purposes? Obviously I can no longer ##3282#

 

Appreciate any help with this.

New Orleans and the surrounding area isn't that bad. Once you get out of Southeast Louisiana then it gets bad.

Yea the only app hurting me on the new preview is watchESPN but everything is good.

FYI...

I use sprint as my main carrier and I was Wondering about tethering and it doesn't not work on sprint using the lollypop preview. So I activated my T-Mobile Sim and tried out tethering and it works. Even on the $30 plan it works. So this leads me to believe that Google finally fixed that free tethering on any carrier glitch. Now this is with the stock tethering app built into lollypop.

So for any persons wanting to use lollipop just know if your plan doesn't include tethering it won't work.

I had a N5 replacement 4 days after I got it for my wife. She dropped it and cracked the screen. Paid the $100 and got a new phone the next day. Better than paying $400 for another phone.

I actually have a Chrome book, Acer C720. And it's good for me. Web browsing and video watching everywhere. I have Netflix and plex for my movie needs. And the hdmi port is great so I can just plug it into the TV and watch a movie on it when needed. I can remote into my desktop if I need to do more serious things. I plan on passing this one down to my mom and getting that new chromebook with the tegra k1 soon.

So after switching back to a Nexus 5,i started using Hangouts for SMS texting, which I've come to like.

 

But then I needed a voicemail app, so I figured why not use Google Voice.

 

After dealing with other learning curves of Google Voice, today suddenly I'm not getting texts in Hangouts. After realizing no texts were coming through, I checked Google Voice. They were all recieved in that app, but with no notifications. However, I checked the settings and I ha e it checked to get my texts via the messaging app instead of the Voice app. Setting is also applied as main texting app in Hangouts.

 

Any ideas guys? I can't seem to get these apps to play nice.

Google may add it to aosp. I wouldn't be surprised if they do.

No issues here as well. I use my Google voice number as my main number, I never give out my sprint number. It's never seen. Also sprint intergration is turned off.

I'll just cut out a partition and go from there. If the partition is good I'll just go full in. Not new to this at all.

I ran the preview for win 8 when it first came out and it wasn't a issue. By the time April 15 hits I would be willing to clean install things anyway. Gotta make sure a couple apps will work for sure before I go in naked. I use my pc as a media streaming pc using plex and I don't want to mess up my flow.

That's not bad.

Installed in over windows 8.1 . it saved all my data but stashed all my programs in a windows.old folder. Seems very stable.... And I like that start menu. A major thing I've noticed is that in cmd you can ctrl v to paste things... That's a major feature I'm loving right now... Also I like the way the windows look now. They have a very minimal boarder around them.

I got it downloaded, may make a partition and try it out.

Don't forgot the 9 inch nexus tablet htc is putting together.
