Google voice was always full of echos for me. On my n7 or my phones, it's crystal clean or my pc. Guess that's the consequence of hacking Google voice into a app. ????

It's good when coverage just sucks. When I had t-mobile I was in the hospital and had almost no coverage, dropped calls and all. Turned on the wifi and bam calling all good. Clear as ever. This was standard on t-mobile and used the same rules that sprint is going to employ.

I'm not sure I fully understand this... "An active data session will hand down to eHRPD/EV-DO but not the other direction".

 

Does that mean that the device radio will indeed, regardless of time, have to manually be cycled?

No it means when the data connection goes dormant it will try to hand off to lte if a signal is there.

I thought spark is what sprints calling their tri-band lte...I don't see this as a firmware or modem update alone...
