  1. I'm back on my G3 for awhile and I absolutely HATE the newest version of Tapatalk for Android. If this is what the latest version on iPhone looks/feels like, I don't blame you guys for hating it. Total mess. Sent from my LG G3 using Tapatalk
  2. I share the same stance as AJ with regards to BRS/EBS. I think Sprint needs to hoard all of their spectrum assets. BRS and EBS is Sprint's differentiating factor. They will, at some point in the future, be able to deploy most of it, if not all of it. Just because the technology doesn't exist to utilize all of the BRS/EBS today or in the foreseeable future, doesn't mean the technology isn't coming. While all of the other carriers are scrambling to pick-up more spectrum, Sprint has the freedom to focus on finding ways to deploy what they already have. It's a great position to be in - having so much spectrum that you literally cannot deploy it all by current technological limitations. Selling even a small sliver BRS (or not renewing EBS leases) would be foolish. Sent from my LG G3 using Tapatalk

Yeah, me too. I'm not sure what is taking them so damn long. Has Android L been pushed to any other domestic carrier's G3? Android L has been out for the G3 everywhere but in the US, it seems. Sent from my LG G3 using Tapatalk
  4. Ah damn. Did the phone bend? Sorry to hear that. Sent from my iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
  5. Haha. I bet. Tapatalk is getting slaughtered on the App Store right now, deservedly so. They have the WORST dev team I think I've ever seen. Sent from my iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
  6. I'm so thankful I was able to turn off auto-updates before the new version of Crapatalk could be pushed to my iPhone. Jeez. Judging by the bloodshed in the App Store reviews, it is really shitty. Sent from my iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
  7. Yes, absolutely. The more carriers the better, always. It helps everybody. Sent from my iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
  8. Having both B25 and B26 available is good for coverage and speed on both bands. B26 acts like a second 5x5mhz carrier in conjunction with B25, but with the added reach of lower frequency spectrum for coverage and especially in-building propagation. Optimized B26 should have about the same coverage as 1900mhz 3G, maybe even slightly better. Both B25 and B26 are 5x5mhz FDD LTE, which have a maximum theoretical speed of 37mbps each. So neither band will be able to exceed 37mbps, but having both available allows the network to spread out the load. Some markets are getting a second B25 carrier, which helps to spread out the loads even more. I believe Jax is one of those markets. B41 overlay is where capacity comes in to play, as B41 is the capacity/speed band. In areas where all three bands are available, speeds and coverage are great. Sprint's 8t8r B41 propagates almost as good as B25, whereas Clear B41 doesn't propagate nearly as good. Sent from my iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
  9. Must have, because I never see speeds that slow in Jax, unless I'm camped on an overloaded B26 sector. My B41 speeds are never usually less than 25mbps with a good airlink. More often than not, my B41 speeds are 40+Mbps. Next time around, Sprint will be even better. Sent from my iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
  10. Why not just set it up to offload while on wifi only? Sent from my iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
  11. If we were both downloading at the same time and both had a good airlink (and were the only two on the same sector), our speeds would be roughly equally balanced. It is more complicated than that, but this is roughly how it would work. Sent from my iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
  12. The loads are already "spread out" naturally on a sector. If you are the only one and have a good airlink, you'll get close to maximum throughput. As more people join a sector, the loads are automatically spread out and depend greatly on airlink quality. I'm not sure what or why this is hurting anybody. Sent from my iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
  13. Have any fellow iOS users experienced any crashing issues with Hangouts? My Hangouts app crashes constantly, even during calls. Totally useless as it sits. Sent from my iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
  14. Yeah, Jax market is definitely being optimized as we speak. Slowly but surely. How much did your B26 signal increase? Are you positive it is coming from the same site? Sent from my iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
  15. It is a good bit bigger than a Nexus 5, just so you know. The bezels are what make the 6+ big. The battery life is insane, though. Sent from my iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
  16. Love my 6+. It is a little unwieldy at times, as it a large phone due to the iPhone's huge bezels. Beyond that, it is an amazing device and worth it, especially if you get it at a good price. Sent from my iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
  17. This is about normal. I get about 12 or so hours of usage with ungodly standby time. I've gone three full days without charging and regularly go 2 full days. Sent from my iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
  18. Yeah, we have some weird stuff going on in the Jax market. I couldn't receive any calls for about 4 hours yesterday. I didn't realize it until my wife texted me that she was trying to call me. It would ring for awhile until VM picked up. I was on a Clear/Sprint co-located tower during that time. B26 has been a little weird as has band switching in general. Definitely something going on lately. Sent from my iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
  19. Maybe the JAX market is finally getting some optimization love. Sent from my iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
  20. I've been on LTE all morning. Mix of B26/B25/B41. Sent from my iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
  21. ^^^^^This. I get LTE almost everywhere on i95 from i26 in South Carolina, almost all the way to South Florida, with the exception of a few places. Streaming music or video will cause the phone to stop scanning for LTE if you loose your LTE signal, though. Most of the sites through there are NV upgraded, so if you do get knocked down to EVDO and stay there, you shouldn't have a problem streaming music as Post-NV EVDO provides decent speeds. 22. Honestly, you're not using 2/3 of the Sprint LTE network on the phones you guys have. Don't judge Sprint coverage and performance based on a single-band phone. If you had Tri-band phones, you would see a WORLD of difference in Jax. You're missing B26 and B41 coverage as well as 1x800 coverage. B26 and 1x800mhz is very good in JAX and as optimization occurs, it is getting better. A modern Tri-band phone would be the way to go for you guys. All of the current flagships are Tri-band and all have good RF characteristics. Sent from my iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk

    LG G3

No issues reporting GCI or PCI from what I've seen. The battery life is decent, but nothing amazing, especially when compared to my I6+. You'll need an extra battery for heavy use or a charger. Sent from my iPhone 6+ using Tapatalk
