  1. The ceo of freedompop is doing what any smart negotiator does..attempting to drive up the price Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  2. Of course they do. Its the american way. Its brilliant. Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  3. I love this newfound sense of urgency at sprint. And if we are marching closer to the "customers just want their data to work well" why would anything other than prioritizing in these areas matter? E-peen speedtest whoreoffs in suburban america? Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  4. Exactly. Its not like he cant afford it. Starve the flamingo and steal some better credit customers from the duopoly. Now I just need some rural carrier coverage realization Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  5. Do it, Charlie. Do it. Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  6. Oh this again. Hopefully the new one is cost efficient and we can stop scapegoating the advertisements. Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  7. So.... in early 2014, we were told to expect to see something like 50% of Tmo's remaining Edge/GSM network transition to LTE by the end of 2014. We're 4 months from the end of the year... a LOT of edge should be disappearing in the next few months?
  8. Anyone who is bitching about limited roaming should consider writing the FCC or their senator and demand more reasonable roaming rates from the big 2. They both have excess capacity to share in many pockets of their networks and demand ransom prices out of greed and fear Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  9. Who cares what the flamingo king and his minions jibjab on twitter about? When all else fails to be a punchline, are they gonna make fun of our shade of yellow? Id rather not be a self hating Legere sycophant Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  10. Subtle implication of a september announcement? Q4 starts oct 1 Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  11. Do we have any clue when all this coverage might show up as native? Are we months or years away? Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  12. There are still plenty of things that Marcelo can do without further tarnishing ARPU. Rollover data...... please?
  13. Agree. It isnt unreasonable to ask a user to "limit" usage within reasonably priced buckets. The only honest activity that causes most users to consume larger amounts data is video apps like youtube. I personally dont like paying the same amount per month as the guy who is illegally tethering anymore than I like paying the same as the person who stays shackled go the charger all day, everyday, wasting away as youtube and netflix substitute real life. 14. Maybe you want the new sharp edgeless handset? $10 a month. I personally love the freedom. Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  15. You used the words "pardon me, but" in a manner that could imply my statements were offensive to you. As offending you was hardly my intent, I aplogized. Anyway, happy sprinting! Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  16. I am sorry the math offended you. That was not my intent. Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  17. "And, customers can save $120 over two years versus T-Mobile’s promotional price…and they don’t have to jump through T-Mobile’s hoops and recruit their friends" Finally, Sprint is slapping back at the flamingo Ditch the "i wanted this cause im an indentured sprint customer" and just accept that sprint is offering us the best deals in the industry, right now Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  18. In a roundabout way, if churn increases are logged as a result of excessive roaming being denied, this is a beautiful source of data to remind sprint where its biggest issues are with inadequate organic coverage. It should have always been this way, rather than letting customers go unmetered and sweeping the roaming bill under the rug Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  19. So, recruit a customer and get a $120 credit? Okay. Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  20. Lets also be fair. Anyone accustomed to buying "higher profile new phones" would be prepared to pay $99-249 for the device, upfront, in a typical 2 year contract. So, if you choose to finance, say, the full $699 price of the galaxy note 3, you are absorbing its total cost into your monthly bill. A fair assessment would be to pay the contract price as a down payment and then finance the remaining balance. Do that and we are talking $20 or less a month. Balking at easy pay payments, when its essentially putting devices in hand for nothing, is lopsided. Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  21. Honestly, make that "no access fee" promotion good for the remaining 12 months of a devices financing and I think we would have a deal with less things to get barbed about. I still sense a name change in the future. It just needs a smaller merger to justify the rebranding costs Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  22. Im glad sprint finally decided to play the data bucket game. Framily and unlimited data cater to fringe users. This caters to the public more broadly. Its easy to understand in comparison to the competition Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  23. Verizon has been offering this as a loyalty /retention option since 2013. Some new customers even managed to get switched to it long before now. Its more similar to them "taking a plan that has been tested" public than anything else. But it is timed deliberately, representing about a $5-7 premium over the best framily configuration+device financing, minus other perks. For sure, Claure has his work cut out for him. The price has to be competitive, but moreso, there has to be significant added value. Something has to happen that the flamingo wont immediately copy without hesitation. It cant just be price Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  24. The verizon billing is always less than my device as well. Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
