  1. The fourth set of equipment? That is what I'm calling the 3rd tier. Lateck,
  2. Here is the tower at Ripley and 18th. Which group is Sprint? I ask because people were working on the third tier today. Edit to add: Sorry for the sideways photo and this is in Yuma.
  3. I thought most of the conversations here were about in town/foothills towers... I sometimes wonder if Sprint knows about south county... I don't live there, but I travel around the south county a lot. Lateck,
  4. Driving back from San Luis, I noticed that there is/has been work on the tower south of Gadsden (near County 19th & Hwy 95). A cherry picker in the yard and guide ropes going up the tower. Can/will south Yuma county see improved service???? Still only 2 sites LTE here....(?) Waiting......... Lateck,
  5. In central/southwest Arizona, Verizon has Sprint beat dead to right. But,,,, it's at a cost. Now Sprint is slowly improving, so let's see in 6 months????? Most likely not. I went with cost in up-grading with the hope Sprint will continue to improve. Lateck,
  6. Had 4G last night driving in from San Luis. On 32nd St. on the way up the mesa. (And along Avenue A) It was not as strong as other times......... Lateck,
  7. I received it last night when I went looking for it, using the Software up-date button. 22.98Mb's, I'll test it later today. Lateck,
  8. Any one received the new up-date? I have been surfing and I have read that it was announced yesterday. (Android Central, Phone Reviews and a few more). Said to improve the voice issue and a keyboard issue?..... Lateck,
  9. OK, I found my problem (at least with my phone :-) ). The profile and PRL were good........ The problem was that I had set my phone to CDMA only..... I do not remember when... Most likely as I have been playing with different settings to improve battery life. So this morning I went back to the instructions. (Oh my!) Ten minutes later LTE shows up.... Just like last week. So, yes there IS LTE here in Yuma. (A Great Place to Live) :-) Lateck,
  10. Yup! up to date (New Note 3 , but that COULD be my problem.... ) I have had 4G LTE, in fact I have tracked it in Sensorly...... Lateck,
  11. Funny, I can not get it at 4th ave and 24th. Or any where on Pacfic Ave. You are real lucky... I'm jealous..... Lateck,
  12. REALLY?????? I have not seen it in almost a week now. (I know I'm not near the two towers all the time, but the signal did reach 16th St. for a or two. And I have been on 32nd St. a few times with no joy :-( ) So, now I'm sadder because at this rate it maybe sooommmeee time. Lateck,
  13. The Dave, you are very lucky..... Your 4G Wimax is faster then most of my 3G readings.... (My area is not fully up graded). So, WiFi is a must. The bottom line depends on where one lives and who is your carrier.... Lateck,
  14. I guess my router has a vacation..... One device most often, 8 at the most ever and none a lots of time.... Lateck,
  15. Only after they have all 20 towers up to LTE....:-) (Yes, I know there are not that many towers here. But, I can dream.....) So, only after all Sprint towers are on..... :-D Lateck,
  16. If freezing was a real problem, they could just move south. What's freezing in Phoenix, AZ? Or San Diego? You get my point......... Although I would wish that was true, because Arizona might get better service/LTE faster. Lateck,
  17. I'm old school and I used a PDA (Palm) a lot. Loved it, miss it. So, to me, the Note 2~3 are more PDA's then phones. The N3 being closer to the PDAs I loved. So Samsung IS making this feature great. Lateck,
  18. You are correct. I only saw from my point of view.... As I have driven around, I have found 4G... But, like you, NOT in my areas of life...... And, yes, the reception on my new Note 3, sucks..... (But that's a different thread). Still hoping. Lateck,
  19. I think Sprint or someone was/is teasing us...... I have only have had LTE one day and spoty another. So, I guess that's why it's quiet.... So All Quiet in Yuma.... Lateck,
  20. Follow up: I called Sprint about my call quality and WiFi issues. The Rep admitted they know about the call quality and are working on that. He then said I need to have my WiFi antenna checked at a Sprint store.....And I should do it soon as I am still in my 14 day return window....?? I maybe should have waited, but I love the N3.... Will have to weather the issues and hope they are only software problems that can be fixed. Lateck,
  21. I wold be hoping they are working on Tucson AND the I-8/10 corridor as I type :-) Why wait! Lateck,
  22. You had many bars in 4G? I did find 4G LTE this morning in the big curve (at Lowe's). But none north of 32nd St. Yet??
  23. Yes, I was connected but the four speedtests I ran via Sonsorly, that was the only one that connected. Now in all fairness to the network, the test was done with my Note 3, which I have been having connection issues..... (Seams the Sprint Samsung Note 3 has a possible firmware issue???????) I did pull up the internet in the area, better then on 3G, but it dropped in and out. By the way, no 4G this morning in this area (by the AEA on 1st Ave). Lateck,
