  1. I can't find the Quick Settings in the drop down menu.... Anyone know where I can set it? I reset the phone already after the update and I still don't see it -Luis
  2. That's true. When I'm driving down the Turnpike I am able to watch YouTube videos with no problem lol. -Luis
  3. They fixed the issue. apparently the profile update didn't go through completely so that's why the txting didn't work.
  4. I am using the stock app. I don't use any other one and the problems persists regardless of mobile or WiFi network.
  5. Today I woke up to my phone not being able to send or receive text messages... I can call and I can use data. But no text messages at all! Nothing I have tried sending some, and I haven't been receiving any of the texts people have said they sent me I called sprint and they reset the phone with the network, did a whole hands-free activation and nothing. I'm sitting here an hour later trying to figure this out... Can you guys suggest anything? As far as Sprint is concerned the towers in my area are all fine and there are no active tickets for any troubles around the area. I live in Miami, FL 33172 -Luis
  6. I actually just got off the line with a rep from sprint cause my internet on the phone isn't really working and he told me that the tower near my house is being upgraded to LTE... should I be super excited?!
  7. That's what homestead would look like from overhead. And the weather here was pretty shitty today. So maybe lol.
  8. I wish I could actually find the Towers lmao. Maybe i'm not looking hard enough! Regardless, I have seen some speed improvements in my home area.
  9. Mines too. I can actually hear everything clearly on this phone. I guess HD Voice will be like listening to a live Band rather than the mp3 lol XD (Though high quality mp3 sounds pretty good too ) -Luis
  10. So recently I saw the topic of August 2012 Deployment, and South Florida is included in the post. I also recently received a notification from Sprint on Sprint Zone announcing a newer better network. Unfortunately, I haven't really seen much of an improvement on service, including Ping on the network, and data speeds. I haven't even been able to see information online, so my question is this: How soon should I be expecting an LTE signal in South Florida? P.S. I've been around the areas that have always had better coverage and speeds, but they have actually been pretty slow lately.... What could that mean? -Luis
  11. I would love to see some NV Love down here for Miami in July It would be my birthday after all, that would be an amazing birthday present
  12. I'm starting this topic because I'm extremely curious about Sprints network for 3G. I currently have the EVO LTE and I absolutely love it, the only thing that bothers me a bit is Sprint 3G network. At times it's great, it flies for 3G but it's only in certain areas such as Coral Gables, Biscayne, Palmetto Bay, and Pinecrest. Other areas such as Doral, Kendall, and Sweetwater, the network is horrible. In the areas where the connection is amazing, I get pings as low as 89ms (Would post pictures, but I had to get a replacement phone) and up to 2.2mbps. In other areas the highest pings I've recorded are 889ms and the speeds crawl at 0.01mbps. My question is this, I read somewhere on the interwebs that NV is starting from the South (as in Homestead area) and working it's way north, but what I see is that the Coastal areas have better speeds, and the inland areas are not as great...? Is NV being worked on down here, and from where?
  13. Damn and here I thought I found something useful. oh well maybe next time -Luis
  14. Hi, I am actually new as a member, but I've been visiting this website for a while now. Thought I might post this as I think it's useful information. The Sprint coverage map has been updated to include LTE information, it doesn't really say anything as of yet. But maybe it'll be updated again once the LTE markets start going live. http://coverage.spri...TNAV=ATG:FT:Cov -Luis P.S. Forgot to mention, just go under the Data tab and it'll say "Sprint 4G LTE"
  15. I've had the phone for over two weeks already, the phone alone is what made me switch companies. I came from T-mobile. Sprint's service is not as great, but I'm paying about 40 bucks less with Sprint. So it's all good... The two tones has honestly been what made me love the phone the most. I fell in love with the contrast (even if it is a finger print magnet). I would say to give the phone a chance, if you don't like it, well you have 14 days to return it. Oh, a side note, battery has been amazing. With heavy usage it gets me through the day without a problem!
