I went from the EVO 4G to the EVO LTE and had the same issue until they turned on LTE here. It was for abount a month, seemed like an eternity. It was so painful!!! I would keep the 4G or buy a newer 4G phone on craigslist and wait for LTE in your area before going back to 3G.

I bent my EVO LTE, and had to have it replaced. I was dreading getting a 3G phone every for 3 days. Fortunately Best Buy gave me a Samsung Moment as a loaner until my new EVO LTE came in.

I ran into a project manager for Samsung, he said they were doing work for Sprint in the NorthEast. I told him about the board and suggested he join and he would be a valuable asset. Hopefully he will!!!

I just ordered a white Iphone5 32gb for my daughter at Best Buy.. The guy here in OP said they were not close to filling their allotment. I could only order from Sprint online, and the apple store said they were on a 2 week delay now..

I don't understand. What "Sprint map" are you referring to? Sprint does not pubiish maps of all Sprint towers. If you look at the sponsor map at S4GRU you will find the Sprint tower in the nearby area, and it does not look like your photos. Your photos do not look like typical cell towers to me. What makes you think these photos show a Sprint tower at all?

If you go to https://network.sprint.com/ you can put in your zip or city and it will show you towers for that zip code.

I saw this while driving to workout this morning. It is as the Overland Park Soccer Complex. I looked at the Sprint map and did not see a tower at this location. There are 3 towers just northeast of this location, serving all the carriers, at the Blue Valley Athletic complex.

There are now more vendors that are supporting the Android phone similar to a blackberry. I saw someone mention mobileiron, but there are many others.. It will also depend on the version of Android you will be using as to what each vendor will support.
