It is only available in Kansas City, KS and Midtown Kansas City, MO. at present. I would signup just for the free internet. There are no sports channels listed on their channel listing..

There is no real good way to compare these 2 phones and their speeds. The Rezound is on Gingerbread and reports signal differently than a phone on ICS. Signal "bars" are a generalization of a fairly wide signal variance. You could have 2 bars and -112 dBm on one and 2 bars and -104 dBm on the other. At that signal strength, the LTE performance is degrading rapidly and it's hard to make a fair comparison. Add in that the EVO LTE was experiencing issues connecting to LTE and may or may not be fixed, and you really just have numbers.
Sorry to rain on the parade, but I don't know how much stock we can put in speed comparison numbers.
I did some comparision speed test on a wifi network and both phones were very close to the same for upload and download. I think the test is a valid comparision of the speed difference between to to carriers. Granted, it is 1 test, so more samples would be needed.

Why do you have what seems to be a distributed antenna system (DAS) inside your building? Do you not get adequate in building coverage otherwise? If not, then forcing LTE will not to help, as you still will not get adequate in building coverage from LTE.
AJ
I sit close enough to the window that I could pickup LTE from the tower.

We have Sprint antenna's inside our building, which are then relayed to a local tower about a block away. I believe the tower has been converted to LTE, but the antennas in our building are still 3G. My EVO LTE phone will only connect 3G. Is there away to force it to ignore the 3G in the building and only connect to the LTE tower.
For those of you wondering, the tower is located about Pershing and Grand in Kansas City. It is BID:1010 on netmonitor
I probably didn't describe it correctly above, so for the more technical people on the board, please correct anything you see wrong.
Thanks.

I live at 151st and Nall, and get constant 4G connections on my EVO LTE phone. Go to the Price Chopper on 151st and Metcalfe, you might need to toggle your phone's airplane mode. The 2 towers I mainly connect to are located at 151st and 69 HWY and 159th and Mission. I also get service
I'm sure you've done this, but check and make sure your network is set to LTE/CDMA.

After the last upgrade, mine has not been doing this anymore. It wasn't listed as part of the upgrade but ....
Same here, after upgrade, no more issues!!!

Speed test update:
Well tonight, I'm am now getting Sprint 4G LTE in my home office, whereas this morning it would connect, but go to eHRPD quickly.
Here are the results tonight:
Sprint EVO LTE Download 6614kbps Upload 7601kbps Ping 64ms
Verizon Rezound Download 10500kpbs Upload 430kbps Ping 177ms
Bars are each 3. Sprint -90dBm Verizon -98dBm*
*netmonitor on the rezound which is not ICS, shows connected at 1xRTT while the phone shows 4G.
Can Sprint and Verizon be on the same tower?

What were your signal levels for Sprint vs Verizon?
Sorry, I think they were both about 3 bars, but I don't really recall.
