    Teaser: Hello Moto (X)?

I'm actually pretty excited for this. It's either this thing or the Nexus 5 2015 for me.

I'm with you there.  I'm leaning towards the LG G4 right now but, if this (or the Nexus 5 2015) is priced significantly better, I'll probably go for it.

  1. Guess i will see what happens. It sounds promising but so did LTE and that works half the time. It will be nice if 800 launched in AZ but then i would need a tri-band phone -_-

I agree that AZ is in desperate need of 800mhz however, even without 800mhz, you're really missing out if you don't have a tri-band phone.  B41 is popping up all over... What are you waiting for?

  2. I'd take a phone with the same exact specs of the Note2 but with 800LTE and 2.6 LTE added, I would buy it in a heartbeat.

I'm with you! I got 2 upgrades to burn now. One will most likely go to the Mega over the Note3 due to tri-band LTE, The other will either go to the LG G2 or LG Nexus 5. I'm pretty excited about how this has turned out, actually!

Teaser: Is the LG D820 the Nexus 5???

Sucks that the phone doesn't support SVLTE and the battery is only 2300 maH.  That is pretty weak and is the same size battery as the HTC One.  At least the phone will be triband.

I think you will be surprised and find that the pure Google experience found in Nexus devices will make that 2300 battery feel a lot bigger than it appears, as it will not have bloat and skins bogging it down.  Software, in many cases, outweighs hardware.

  3. Nice post AJ. I definitely wanted to know what some possibilities were for Sprint with the increase in spectrum. I don't live in any of those markets but I'm still bummed that its gonna take upwards of 2 years for them to take advantage of that additional spectrum.

I don't really think its that big of a deal. S4GRU has mentioned that it will take at least a couple years before Sprint's Network Vision hits capacity in most markets, so the timing will workout great!

  4. Last year, I switched from T-Mobile to Virgin. I bought a Moto Triumph outright. I'm saving over $50 per month, which has already paid for the upfront cost of the phone. Granted I had a 4G service, and now only 3G.

Saving over $50 a month is a great deal. Even if you will not get the 4G LTE benefits of Sprint's new network, you will still get to take advantage of the many other improvements Sprint's Network Vision includes. Sprint's prepaid (Virgin) is looking to have even more benefits then before.
